The purpose of this thesis is to examine the classification,shelf arrangement and display of documents in antiquarianbookshops and see the reasons behind these. The results willbe compared with previous reviews of alternative shelfarrangement in Swedish public libraries, to see whatdifferences and similarities there are in the classification andshelf arrangement between antiquarian booksellers andlibraries. The questions to be answered were: (1)What formsof classification and shelf arrangement are used inantiquarian bookshops and how does it differ from theclassification and shelf arrangement made in libraries withan alternative shelf arrangement? (2)What exposure ofdocuments are there in the various antiquarian bookshops? Isthere anything regarding the exposure that differs betweenthe antiquarian bookshops and the libraries? An idea andideology analysis of various dimensions is used as atheoretical tool during the work. The dimensions were: (1)Shelf arrangement: It is important that customers/borrowerscan find themselves - it is important that staff know wherethe documents are.

This literature review summarizes available data on infection with the parasitic roundworm, Ascaridia galli, as a cause of disease in poultry, including the consequences of a conversion to alternative production systems. Ascaridia galli has a direct life cycle with resistant eggs that survive and are easily spread in the environment, especially in systems with bedding materials where the faecal contact is high. The infection is usually subclinical but depending on the infection dose, the symptoms range from weight loss and diarrhea to mortality. Factors such as the feed composition and genetic variation among different hybrids clearly affect the establishment rate of the infection. Ascaridia galli will probably become an increasing problem, with a shift from the traditional battery cages to alternative systems where the risk of re-infection is high.

Att ha aktivitetsbalans är en fördel för att uppleva hälsa och förebygga stress. Tidigare forskning tyder på att de finns många outforskade samband mellan dessa faktorer. Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka aktivitetsbalans, hälsa och stress hos yrkesverksamma individer samt sambanden mellan dessa variabler. Syftet var vidare att jämföra dessa variablers samband hos kvinnor respektive män samt hos de som har hemmaboende barn respektive de som ej har hemmaboende barn. Urvalsgruppen bestod av 300 individer, varav 250 var kvinnor och 50 män, 135 hade hemmaboende barn och 162 hade inte hemmaboende barn.

Kronisk Obstruktiv Lungsjukdom (KOL) är en av de vanligaste lungsjukdomarna i Sverige. En konstant nedsatt lungkapacitet kan påverka utförandet av aktiviteter. There has been an increasing interest for ranking of Swedish health care and a lot of emphasis has been placed on the creation of indicators in order to rank hospital units. However, essays on to what extent the choice of statistical method affects the final result of the ranking of health care units have not been given the same attention. For this particular reason, the main objective of this essay has been to investigate whether the choice of statistical model has a significant impact or not on the final result, by using five different, more or less common, statistical approaches: bar charts (with and without confidence intervals), control charts, logistic regression, multi-level analysis using shrunken residuals. The analyzed material in the essay comprises 24119 patients that all have been prescribed some form of the lipid-reducing medicine statin. According to directives given by Region Skåne, doctors are encouraged to prescribe a particular type of statin medicine, namely Simvastatin, which has been proved to be equally effective, but significantly cheaper than other statin medicines.

Trots metodens framsteg i aktivitet och självständighet och trots metodens effektivitet när det gäller delaktighet hos barn och vuxna med Cerebral Pares har den inte fått någon framträdande position i Sverige. Studiens syfte var att studera den Konduktiva Pedagogikens möjligheter till ökad aktivitet, självständighet och delaktighet hos barn med rörelsehinder utifrån arbetsterapeutiska grundantaganden. Resultatet visade att samtliga deltagare hade förbättrat sin aktivitetsförmåga, självständighet och delaktighet genom sin träning enligt den Konduktiva Pedagogiken.
