Ungdomars musikvanor : En studie i hur och var svenska ungdomar upptäcker och konsumerar musik ur ett mottagarperspektiv.
This essay is a study of the various attitudes and behavioral habits for music consumption and discovery of new music amongst young people in Sweden from a receivers perspective. The aim of the study is to review and map out the current trends, habits and cultural views on music consumption. An online survey was posted and spread on Facebook with 195 respondents as a result. The analyzed result and conclusions of the survey was then to be of use for understanding how to market and spread new music more efficiently. The study showed that there are three dominating sources of music for youth in Sweden.
"Varför kommer du inte tillbaka?" : En studie om avgörande faktorer latent lojala privatkunder (B2C) på ett stadshotell i en småstad
Denna uppsats är en kvalitativ fallstudie där vi undersökt ett stadshotell i en mindre stad i Mellansverige. På hotellet har vi identifierat ett problem med latent lojala kunder, det vill säga kunder som är nöjda med sin vistelse och som sprider positiv word-of-mouth men väljer att inte återköpa, med andra ord, kommer kunderna inte att återkomma till hotellet. Studien har genomförts med hjälp av kvalitativa telefonintervjuer, med tolv utvalda latent lojala gäster från hotellet, där syftet var att undersöka samt förklara bakomliggande faktorer till latent lojala kunder. Centralt för lojala kunder är att de upplever ett unikt värde hos en leverantör, som inte andra leverantörer erbjuder. Utifrån fyra valkriterier: tekniska, ekonomiska, sociala och personliga har vi analyserat intervjupersonernas svar i vår empiriska studie.
Imageination: En uppsats om imageöverföring inom sponsring och Event Marketing
There are two main reasons for why companies engage in sponsoring and Event Marketing; affecting the brand awareness and/or the image of the brand. Historically the main focus within the research field has been on how sponsoring and Event Marketing can create and achieve high brand awareness. More research regarding the image transfer from event to brand has been requested and this study is to be considered as an attempt to begin filling this gap. Today we see more and more brands choosing to arrange their own events; hoping to attain a more direct connection between the event and the brand. This trend raises questions such as - Do brands arranging their own events receive more image transfer from event to brand compared to brands sponsoring the same kind of event? - Are there any differences between an established well-known brand and a new unknown brand? - Will an event fully owned by a brand attract more or less people than an event arranged by someone considered to be less biased? These are some of the questions asked and answered within this thesis.

Libraries all over the world struggle against the threat of decreased funding and a lack of governmental interest. In countries with an under-developed library sector the interest from the government is often minimal or non-existent. Since the 80´s Sida, the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency has contributed to the library development in Central America through the Royal Library of Sweden. Nicaragua was the first country to be counterpart in the project. For a period of eight weeks I have completed a field study in Nicaragua and visited the National Library Rubén Darío and public libraries in the country.

Animal welfare in Sweden has gone through major changes during the later years. In 2004, Swedish Animal Welfare Agency took over the central responsibility for the animal welfare from the Swedish Board of Agriculture, and in 2007 the board again became the central authority for animal welfare in Sweden.Even the practical supervision has changed, from the 1 of January 2009 the supervision is to be performed by the county administrative boards, instead of by the individual municipalities.
Since 2006 every horse in the European Union has to have an identification card, in Sweden called a ?horse passport? which describes the color and markings of the horse as well as any veterinary treatments.The ELOF-project, a collaborative project between the Swedish Board of Agriculture and the county administrative boards, intends to make the animal welfare supervision effective, standardised, fair and risk-based. Because of the takeover of the supervision and of the ELOF-project the Örebro County Administrative Board has began to make an inventory of the number of horses and horsefarms in the county. Another Ethology and Animal Welfare-student and I did, in collaboration with the county administrative board created a checklist that in connection with the inventory will lead to a risk-based animal welfare supervision.

The purpose of this study is, based on theories of gender and hegemonic masculinity, to studyhow masculinity and femininity is constructed and reproduced in one of the most popularSwedish podcast: Filip & Fredriks podcast. The main theory in this study is that gender issocially created and sustained by humans through language and interaction with others.The study's research questions is: How are gender roles/gender portrayed in Filip & Fredrik'spodcast? What characteristics are attributed to men and women in Filip & Fredrik's podcast?How does Filip & Fredrik's podcast represents conditions and power relations between menand women?Through an linguistic textual analysis, which is an application of discourse analysis, I seek toget beneath the surface meanings of texts and examine more implicit social meanings andideologies regarding gender. It includes an analysis of metaphors, word choices and syntax.The analysis shows underlying values and ideologies that indicates gender structures in abroader societal context. Choice of words and metaphores in Filip & Fredriks's podcastexpresses symbolism where men and male-typical attributes are highly valued, whilst womanand female-typical attributes is being devalued and representative of the opposite.Masculinities and femininities are also constructed and represented in various ways throughsentence constructions that guides the listeners in certain directions.

The purpose of this study has been to examine how customers, by interacting with each other, can communicate and create the image of a brand. We find this topic to be relevant since there are no previous studies conducted concerning the customers influence on the brand image. Our ambition has been to describe in what ways and to what extent the customer can affect and influence the brand image by communicating with other customers. To fulfill our purposed we have targeted three important questions which are:? In which ways can the customer affect the communicated image of a brand?? To what extent can the customer influence the brand image and the perceived value?? Who has control over the brand, the customer or the company?For this study we have used a qualitative approach in which we have conducted eight personal interviews with brand consultants and the editor of the magazine Dagens Media which has given us the foundation for our analysis.

The theoretical basis is founded in Klas Åmarksperspective on Sweden's position in the war, the so-called small state realistic paradigmand the moral perspective, as well all Kosellecks theory about the written word.
Att vänta på en hjärt- eller lungtransplantation - Ur ett närståendeperspektiv
Bakgrund: Hjärt- eller lungtransplantation håller idag på att bli en allt vanligare behandlingsmetod när den medicinska behandlingen inte längre har någon effekt på det sviktande organet och patientens liv hotas. För patienten och dennes närstående innebär hela transplantationsprocessen mycket lidande, ångest och oro. Ofta har de närstående en mycket viktig och ansvarsfull roll i patientens omvårdnad under väntetiden. Det är därför av stor vikt för sjuksköterskan att ha kunskap om hur hon på bästa sätt kan stödja, trösta och hjälpa dessa närstående. Syfte: Syftet med denna litteraturstudie var att identifiera och beskriva upplevelser av att vara närstående till en patient som väntar på hjärt- eller lungtransplantation för att få förståelse för hur sjuksköterskan kan ge stöd och hjälp.Metod: Litteraturstudie som bygger på nio vetenskapligt granskade artiklar.

I also wanted to know the advantages anddisadvantages they see with this tool. I believe that children andteenagers are interested in social media- tools and also are bigusers and consumers of these tools. Therefore I thought it mightbe interesting to examine how school librarians who havechildren and young people as their main target group, work withweblogs which is one of many social media tools.The methodology used for this study is interviews.

Taluppfattningstest med enstaviga ord i brus: Normalvärden för barn i åldrarna 7, 10 och 13 år
Background: Phonemically balanced word lists are used when obtaining speech recognition scores in noise. These lists are designed for adults, but are still used for children. To properly obtain speech recognition scores in noise for children, normative data is needed to show what differences there are to be expected between children of different ages. Purpose: The main purpose is to obtain normative data for children in the ages of 7, 10 and 13 years for speech recognition scores in noise using words and to compare these with each other and with normative data of adults. A further purpose is to examine if there is any practice- or exhaustion effect to be seen when obtaining speech recognition scores in noise for children in the ages of 7, 10 and 13 years.Material: The participants were ten 7-year-olds, ten 10-year-olds and ten 13-year-olds.
Smärtupplevelser under PCI-behandling vid punktion av arteria radialis
Syfte: Syftet med föreliggande studie är att studera smärtupplevelser, smärtfrekvens och smärtintensitet hos patienter med akut kranskärlssjukdom, som genomgår PCI-behandling med punktion av a. radialis, vid ett universitetssjukhus i mellansverige. Syftet är även att studera skillnaden i smärtfrekvens mellan män och kvinnor som genomgår PCI-behandling. Metod: Deskriptiv, komparativ tvärsnittstudie med kvantitativ ansats. Totalt 31 deltagare tillfrågades varav 20 medverkade i studien, bortfallet uppgick till 11.
En beskrivning av manuellt test : Svagheter och styrkor med och utan stöd avett testverktyg
Test is an area in system development. Test can be performed manually or automated. Test activities can be supported by Word documents and Excel sheets for documenting and executing test cases and as well for follow up, but there are also new test tools designed to support and facilitate the testing process and the activities of the test. This study has described manual test and identified strengths and weaknesses of manual testing with a testing tool called Microsoft Test Manager (MTM) and of manual testing using test cases and test log templates developed by the testers at Sogeti. The result that emerged from the problem and strength analysis and the analysis of literature studies and firsthand experiences (in terms of creating, documenting and executing test cases) addresses the issue of the following weaknesses and strengths.

Background: The speech- and language deficit aphasia affects 12 000 persons annually in Sweden. Aphasia is caused by injury in the brain and the most common etiology is stroke. According to the tool for describing and assessing aphasia, A-FROM (Kagan et al., 2008), the four following aspects of aphasia need to be considered: severity of aphasia, participation in life situations, communication and language environment and personal factors. Several different interventions and treatments can be performed in every domain. There is scientific evidence for interventions performed by speech and language pathologists; however, the question is yet being discussed since results are unambiguous.Purpose: The main purpose of this study is to investigate which aphasia interventions performed by speech and language pathologists that are supported by evidence.
