Bakgrunden till vårt val att gå djupare in på ämnena kundinvolvering och lojalitet utvecklades allteftersom vi såg fler och fler faktorer som indikerade på att det idag har blivit allt viktigare att bry sig om kunden. Kundinvolvering fann vi då var ytterligare ett sätt att skapa en god kundrelation och således även stärka lojaliteten, och därför ansåg vi att det var intressant att vidare undersöka hur detta kan integreras i ett företags verksamhet.SyfteHuvudsyftet för vår studie var att identifiera vilka faktorer som kan påverka företagens val och användning av kundinvolvering för att stärka lojaliteten. Detta ämnade vi att uppfylla genom att urskilja vilka aktiviteter företag kan involvera sina kunder i, samt hur involveringen kan integreras i verksamheten.

Industries with energy costs as a large proportion of their total costs are greatly affected by the instruments deployed to cope with the Swedish climate and energy policy goals. With energy costs representing more than 30 % of the total costs, tomato cultivators are one of the affected industries. In order to remain competitive with other countries, a more resource- and cost-efficient cultivation of tomatoes in greenhouses is desirable in Sweden. Based on the concept of industrial symbiosis, this study investigates the prerequisites for a resource-efficient production of locally grown tomatoes in Sweden through the utilization of low grade industrial waste heat. The study is based on the foundry industry as the supplier of waste heat.To investigate the environmental, technical and economic potential of the exchange of waste heat, a comparative life cycle assessment, an inventory of the supply of industrial waste heat in Sweden, a compilation of potential technologies for the recovery of low grade industrial waste heat for heating greenhouses and a comparative life-cycle cost calculation were carried out.

Background: The design industry is relatively immature in Sweden but large on the international market, where companies have used services from industrial design firms for a long time. Companies incresignly realise that design is an efficient mean to gain competitive advantages on the market. Several design companies fancy growth and to receive a wider market share to expand on the international market. One of them is Design Communicaton who has made a couple of acquisitions, to receive wider comptences and to cover different segments. That has lead to an increased brand portfolio with different subbrands, which can be complicated to handle efficiently in the internal and external communication.

Forest enterprises have always searched for ways to improve efficiency. For the past few years there has been an emphasis on stock-keeping levels. Increased demand for fresh round timber and the need to decrease the amount of tied-up capital has made the forest industry reduce its inventory levels. This has brought on a higher demand on the timber supply from the forest management districts concerning both delivery in time and assortment output. As a result, the flow of timber has fluctuated a lot with serious consequence for the timber supply during 1994.
