Denna uppsats handlar generellt om hjälp och stöd för anhöriga till alkohol- och narkotikamissbrukare, och berör specifikt den hjälp som finns att tillgå inom Sundsvall kommun, hur den uppfattas, samt vilken hjälp och stöd som önskas. Tidigare forskning har påpekat att hjälp och stöd kan vara av vikt då det finns vissa risker förknippat med att vara anhörig till en missbrukare. Dock anser inte alla att det är ett problem vilket också gör att den ökade medikaliseringen i vårt samhälle kan ha en negativ inverkan på vissa anhöriga, till exempel kan det leda till att människor placeras i fack. Det kan samtidigt betyda att andra blir hjälpta. Vi har gjort en kvalitativ studie med semi- strukturerade intervjuer.

Syftet var att beskriva sjuksköterskors attityder gentemot patienter med alkohol- och/eller narkotikaproblem. Studien genomfördes som en litteraturstudie där sökorden nurs* och attitudes kombinerades med alcohol, misus* och drug abuse i databaserna Cinahl och PubMed. Resultatet visade att sjuksköterskor hade fördomar gentemot patienter med alkohol- och/eller narkotikaproblem. Sjuksköterskor ansåg att dessa patienter var oförutsägbara och farliga för andra och sjuksköterskor beskrev även en rädsla för dessa patienter. Även positiva attityder hos sjuksköterskor framkom, då vissa sjuksköterskor ville hjälpa patienter med alkohol- och/eller narkotikaproblem.

Syfte: Att undersöka sexualvanor och alkohol- eller drogintag vid samlag bland unga män i Sverige samt se om det finns några skillnader mellan svenska män (n=170) och utlandsfödda män (n=20) i dessa frågor. Syftet var även att undersöka hur det första samlaget upplevdes. Metod: Män i åldern 15-29 (n=190) som besökte RFSU-kliniken i Stockholm under en viss period tillfrågades om deltagande i en enkätundersökning. Resultat: Totalt 81,3% (n=154) av deltagarna hade haft sex utan att använda kondom vid samlag med ny partner under de senaste 12 månaderna. Det fanns inga skillnader mellan svenska och utländska mäns sexualvanor och alkoholintag vid samlag.

The aim of this study has been to examine how people with the chronic disease diabetes are seek-ing information about their disease. The study also look at the sources, which are mainly used, and the information behavior of the participants in this study. Especially in diabetes health care the idea of empowerment is central, which means that the patients need a lot of information to get know-ledge and become empowered. The study also examine the public library as a resource of health information, and for that purpose an examination of the OPAC catalog in two public libraries has been done, using the word ?diabetes? to illustrate the literature and other medias related to di-abetes.

A consultant is an external expert that exists within all types of organizations. The consulting service can be divided into individual practitioners and large companies whose sole task is to hire out consultants to clients. The need for consultants has grown due to the restructuring of Swedish businesses during the past decades. They have put parts of their business on contract. This has led to a market with other player that have been able to focus on these parts.

Background and problem: There is a continuous debate regarding incentive programs in public companies. Since the global financial crisis and the subsequent recession in 2008, the criticism has reached even higher levels. Various regulatory authorities as well as influential external actors require stronger regulations and limitation of the monetary compensation in publicly held companies. Share-based payments are based on the development of the market value of the company. This means there is an existing relation between the owners? and the managers? interests.

Introduction: Urinary retention is a common postoperative complication associated with bladder distension. Permanent damage to the bladder affects the patient?s quality of life and may lead to a lifelong inability to empty the bladder and needs of self-catheterization with the risk of urinary tract infection. Bladder distension was classified as the fourth largest health care related injury in Sweden in 2013. Bladder distension may occur before the operation starts and is more common among orthopedic patients.

BACKGROUND The economic crimes related to the taxation authorities (SKM), aim at evading paying taxes and/or wrongly obtaining tax revenue. SKM has noticed that many newly established companies have intended to be carried on, only for a short period of time and with the aim of generating grant-revenues and in the meantime omit to pay or wrongly account for taxes. SKM wants to investigate the possibilities to develop a method of analysis to identify those corporations. PURPOSE The purpose of this essay is to make a survey of, and identify companies, who fail in their obligations concerning income-tax return and paying taxes and charges and to try to see what is characteristic for those companies in order to find out a method of analysis. Further a study of literature will be done especially concerning who will commit economic crimes and the reasons why they do it.

In this thesis, we have analyzed the Swedish debate about whether to impose a national canon, and make it compulsory in school curricula. Cecilia Wikström, a Liberal MP in Sweden, made the suggestion in July 2006, and the focus of our analysis is the subsequent debate during July and August 2006. Our materials are polemical articles from three Swedish newspapers, which we have examined to find the main ideas and arguments behind the various standpoints. Three issues have been our main focus; first, we have analyzed which concepts of culture the various debaters have used, where we have seen a difference between an anthropological and an aesthetical concept, but, surprisingly, found that there isn?t a very strong correlation between an aesthetical concept of culture and being pro-canon, or between an anthropological concept of culture and being anti-canon.

Syftet med denna litteraturstudie var att beskriva förekomst och belysa vilka riskfaktorer som bidrar till att män utvecklar ätstörningar samt att beskriva hur dessa kan se ut. Kvalitativa och kvantitativa vetenskapliga artiklar användes för att genomföra denna litteraturstudie. Resultatet visar att det är svårt att veta hur många män som lider av ätstörningsproblematik eftersom området fortfarande är sparsamt utforskat och att prevalensen visar sig vara väldigt olika i olika studier. Ångest och depression och andra affektiva störningar är ofta sammankopplat med ätstörningar men om det är en riskfaktor eller ett symtom är svårt att veta. Grupptryck och massmediala faktorer kan bidra till utvecklandet av ätstörningar hos män, men press från vänner har visat sig vara en större riskfaktor än press från media.

Evidensläget för de olika metoder som används för diagnostik och intervention vid dysfagi är i många fall osäkert. Syftet med denna studie var att ur ett evidensperspektiv granska forskningen med avseende orofaryngeal dysfagi hos vuxna. En omfattande databassökning genomfördes i PubMed mellan april och augusti 2011, begränsad till engelska och svenska studier, med deltagare över 19 år. Sökorden som användes var bland annat dysphagia (43 259 träffar), deglutition disorders (36 278 träffar), intervention, management, assessment, evidence, validity och reliability.

The purpose of this paper was to examine how clients on the unit for adults at Södemalms district administration (Stockholm, Sweden) with severe mental illness and substance abuse differs from other clients with substance abuse at the baseline and at follow-up one year later. We have used a quantitative method and analyzed material from ASI-interviews performed at the adult drug abuse unit at Södermalm during the time period 2002-2010. At the baseline the clients with substance abuse and co-occurring severe mental illness have more problems than other clients, primarily in the area of mental health. They spend more time alone and are more likely to engage in illegal activities. Interviewers assess their situation as more serious and that they need more help in all of ASI's areas of life than other clients.

Military dogs in Sweden spend their first 18 months after weaning with a foster owner that has volunteered to care for its upbringing. The foster owner is advised by a consultant and offered three opportunities to train the dog together with other foster owners. There is a positive correlation between the number of attended training opportunities with the consultant, or other professional dog trainers, and the results of the dog in the temperament test at the end of the 18 months. The test results are in turn positively correlated with the likelihood of the dog to enter service. This thesis aims to investigate why the number of training opportunities is important for the dog?s chance to enter service by identifying foster owner factors that influence the success of the dog and which temperament test items the factors have the strongest impact on.

To increase the understanding of how individuals total life situation affects their stress level and health has lately more frequently been discussed in different contexts. Furthermore, it is important to have knowledge of power structures that exist under given circumstances in a society to get an increased understanding of how to structure the health promoting work to get the highest possible benefits. People?s work life is essential to their health, since we spend a lot of time at work. The aim of this study was to find out which factors that relate to nursing staff?s health and stress level from a general perspective.
