Syftet med projektet är att ta fram en prototyp av en alternativ centralenhet till Lansen SystemsAB:s larmsystem. Prototypen skall möjliggöraen vidareutveckling av systemet,internetanslutning och låta sig styras från ettanvändargränssnitt. Hårdvaran som haranväntsi projektet är en Raspberry Pi vilken är en välkänd ?minidator? som skall tillåta vidareutveckling.Med hjälp utav en avUSB-portarna på Raspberry Pi:n kopplas Lansens radiomodul in och används för att styra larmsystemets olika enheter över ett radioprotokoll. Kommunikationen mellan Raspberry Pi:n och radiomodulen skermed UART och följersamma protokoll som den microprocessor somi vanliga fall styr systemet.För att kunna styra larmsystemet från en mobilapplikation krävs det att information om systemet lagras.

Introduktion: Att vänta på ambulans kan antas betyda ett vårdlidande för patienter. Det finns möjlighet för larmoperatören på SOS-alarm att prioritera på ett sådant sätt att väntetiden varierar patienter emellan. Det är också möjligt för ambulanssjuksköterskan att fördröja tiden från det att uppdraget tilldelats till det att ambulansen startas. Tidigare forskning pekar på kopplingar mellan vårdlidande och väntan på vård. Föreliggande pilotstudie mäter skillnader i väntetid mellan två socialt skilda stadsdelar i Göteborg och relaterar väntetid i termer av vårdlidande.

A short execution time was also desirable.By using the characteristic of an inhalation a band-pass filter was applied to the signalto improve the signal to noise ratio. After the filtering an energy estimation of thesignal was made. This energy estimation was later used in a frequency analysis, whichcould tell us if there were enough energy in the frequencies that correspond to adivers breathing frequency.

The purpose of the thesis is to demonstrate how high frequency trading affects the stock market. Our results showed that high frequency trading provides liquidity to the market, there is a statistical connection between high frequency trading and volatility, no price manipulation is being used and there is a need for a supervision of the high frequency trading..

Background: Palliative care is something that all people should have the right to be allowed to, to be able to enjoy the qualities of life, even when someone has been afflicted with illness that cannot be cured. How do the nurses in municipal home-care deal with and prepare themselves to perform a righteous task? Aim: The aim of this study is to illuminate nurses, comprehensions of palliative care within municipal home-care. Method: The method is a questionnaire to nurses. Results: The results did comply to law and regulations.

Syftet med denna studie var att studera möjligheten att bedöma korrekthet i vittnens utsagor beroende av deltagarnas grupptillhörighet. I studien ingick 120 deltagare som antingen fick se en film med vittnesmål från fyra vittnen med enstaka centrala meningar eller läsa en text med samma meningar. De viktigaste mätningarna i denna studie gjordes efter signal detection theory (SDT). Resultaten visade att deltagarna inte skattade mycket över slumpnivå och ofta till och med under slumpnivå i sina bedömningar. I en hopslagning av betingelserna (text/film) visade analyserna att män generellt var signifikant sämre än kvinnorna på att bedöma vittnesmål, men att kvinnorna gör fler falska alarm än männen i bedömningen av textversionen.  De funna könsskillnaderna i hur vittnesmål bedöms diskuterades..

Jämtkraft AB which is a power production company in Sweden has bought two newhydro power units to their station in Hissmofors. The two new generators are using aconcept with sliding stator feet to handle the thermal expansion.The concept with sliding stator feet on hydro electric generators has not beenworking satisfactory on many hydro power stations in Sweden and has caused a lot ofcosts due to long downtimes.The new station in Hissmofors is very important for Jämtkraft AB, and therefore theywant to know how to make sure that the sliding stator feet are working as theyshould. According to theories and a simplified model of the generator the stator feetdisplacement should be around 1 -1,6 mm.The generators are delivered with a surveillance system that will measure thedisplacement of the sliding stator feet. In this thesis I analyse and discuss what impact the 2003 U.S lead intervention in Iraq, had for the cooperation against global terrorism between the European Union and the United States. Six years have passed since the Bush administration decided to go on with the intervention, even though they did not have the necessary UN mandate. Due to unsuccessful argumentation in favour of the intervention by the Bush administration, the world got divided. George W. Bush reference to a ?war on terror?, which passed almost unnoticed by Americans, rang alarm bells in many European countries.

In Sweden we have a regulated gambling market which means that there are three gambling companies who are operating under the supervision of the Swedish state. These companies have exclusive rights to the Swedish market, divided between them. AB Svenska Spel is one of them and they control all gambling concerning sporting events and the four casinos in Stockholm, Gothenburg, Malmö and Sundsvall. However, since a few years back several Internet-based companies have entered the Swedish market and the competition has become even fiercer in the last years. Due to numerous marketing restrictions the Internet companies have been forced to find new ways to strengthen their brand.

This diploma work handles how some parishes of the Swedish Church administrate their building properties.The report also includes how some external property managers in Sweden work with maintenance plans and other maintenance issues. Further, a number of deficiencies have been identified and suggestions to workarounds are treated. The conclusions drawn in this thesis are based on the author´s experience in the field, performed interviews, and literature studies. The result of the work shows a general lack of knowledge in many parishes what concerns regulatory requirements, properties with no maintenance plan and substandard supervision resulting in unnecessary and expensive repairs. Based on these results, different plans for the maintenance of the building properties of the Swedish Church has been proposed..

Syftet för denna uppsats var att utveckla metodiken för utvärdering av varningsljud i förarmiljö. I undersökningen används syntetiskt framställda ljud. En likhetsskattning av ljuden utfördes och korrelerades gentemot hur väl ljudet passade in för de olika trafiksituationerna. Trafiksituationerna består av att ett bakre fordon accelererade mot ett främre fordon och framkallade ett hot för kollision under en viss tid. Det var ett ljud som korrelerade högt, vilket var ett entonigt alarm.

This paper accounts for the work with a website for a company whose real name will not be disclosed in the text of this paper. Instead, they have been assigned the fictitious name Larmbolaget, which can be translated as ?The Alarm Company?.During our work with Larmbolaget?s website, we consulted a selection of accessibility guidelines from the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0, developed by a working group within the World Wide Web Consortium, as well as a number of design principles and heuristics outlined in this paper. We also conducted several usability tests on users from our intended target group. Can you ensure that your smoke detector will sense fire and sound the alarm in the middle of the night?In 80 percent of the cases where emergency pulls out, smoke detectors are missing where the fire occurred. In the year of 2009, 118 people in Sweden died in fires ? most of them would have survived if there had been a functioning smoke detector.Earlier development of smoke detectors has mainly been focusing on components that sense smoke and alert in case of fire. But in most cases the problem has not been whether the smoke detector was working or not as fully assembled, but rather that it was missing.

För att göra informationen tydligare för en larmoperatör som sitter och övervakar larm som kommer in från ett antal olika nätverkskomponenter så har vi skapat ett system som förser larmen med extra information, kallad Context Type, så att vi kan presentera larmen på ett enklare sätt. Vår informationsberikning, även kallad mappning, är utbyggbar för att möta kravet på framtida utveckling. En webbaserad klient skriven i JavaScript är skapad för att presentera larmen på ett nytt innovativt sätt som är baserad på context typen istället för larmobjektet. Mappningen är skapad med hjälp av Python kod och begränsas av att endast använda textfiler som datakälla och webbapplikationen är endast utvecklad för webbläsaren FireFox samt att visningsintervallet för larmen är begränsat till ett dygn med entimmesintervaller. Mappningen var långsam då vi använde oss av regular expression.
