För det första konstaterade jag att det är väldigt svårt att mäta produktivitetsförändringar inom IT-området. Trots svårtigheterna att mäta förändringar var det en som uttryckligen lyckats åstadkomma mer under arbetstiden eftersom intranätet medfört att han kunnat byta ut restimmar mot arbetstimmar. Dessutom kom jag fram till att alla respondenter erhåller mer information än vad de behöver till sina respektive arbetsuppgifter. Situationen är mest akut för människor som är ute och reser mycket, och därför inte har en daglig kontakt till intranätet. Många av intranätanvändarna väljer hellre att ta avstånd från intranätet än att riskera att drabbas av för mycket information.Det är inte många av intranätanvändarna som sitter och letar efter information.

Our Bachelor?s Thesies has been performed in co-operation with Cellplast Direkt AB inLaholm. Our task was to develop a construction that cuts gussets to ceiling disposition as isused to isolation.Our goal with our construction was to increase the degree of automation so that theproductivity increased and also meet the market which is getting tougher and tougher due tothe future business cycle.Cellplast Direkt gave us free hands in order to enable new ideas. It is common that patients experience emotional reactions as agony and anxiety after an acute myocardial infarction. Only a few studies related to the support in the acute stage have been made. The aim was to describe how nurses declared their support to patients with acute myocardial infarction in the acute stage. The used method was semi structured interviews with seven nurses in an Emergency ward in South of Sweden. The material was processed and analysed with inspiration from content analysis and produced two main themes.

In relation with structure transformation in farm companies with bigger animal population and pressure at the milk price, the farmers in both countries have to invest more money in the company to endure. This had conduct what more owners had seen grown requirements to invest in bigger population barns. The investment is necessary to retain stability in the economy for the companies, at that time when the profitability for small production barns decrease. This essay carries out through a case, there the activities main part are milk production. The present operation consists of 82 milk cows in long stall with a yield on 10 500 kg ECM. The idea is that the company should increase the activity to 180 cows.

This study examined the factors influencing dairy farmers´ decisions to invest in automated milking systems (AMS). The problem studied involves uncertainty, information and complexity for dairy farmers in specific decision contexts. The frame of reference in the thesis combines contingency theory and decision theory and is used in a qualitative analysis of a set interview with dairy farmers who have recently bought an AMS and salespersons from Delaval, one of the AMS suppliers.The aim of this study is to develop an understanding of the decision making processes of dairy farmers, and in particular to identify which types of factors influence the outcome of an investment decision in the technological development of a farm.The study uses Thompsons` (1967) theory about the structure that organizations develop to handle the input of information. Thus, interest is focused on how a farm business structure handles information in the AMS decision, investigating the differences in information with Delaval?s "feed first principle" system and Lely?s "free cow traffic" system.The results of the qualitative interviews with the dairy farmers who bought an AMS show that there are three important factors that influence the outcome: employees, suppliers and the owner.

I dagens Sverige är det ovanligt att möta döden på nära håll. Många nyutexaminerade sjuksköterskor saknar erfarenhet av att möta döden och döende. För att kunna ge en god professionell omvårdnad är det viktigt att ha bearbetat sina tankar och känslor inför döden. Denna litteraturstudie syftar till att undersöka vilka känslor sjuksköterskan upplever vid mötet med döende patienter, om det finns några skillnader mellan förväntade och oväntade dödsfall samt vilka copingstrategier sjuksköterskan kan använda för att hantera de känslor som uppstår i samband med dödsfallen. Resultatet delades in i åtta kategorier av negativa och positiva känslor.

Fler och fler kvinnor föder idag barn med hjälp av kejsarsnitt. En del kvinnor väljer själva att göra kejsarsnitt medan andra blir tvungna att göra det av medicinska skäl. Syftet med denna studie var att beskriva kvinnors upplevelser i samband med ett kejsarsnitt. Tretton internationellt publicerade artiklar analyserades med hjälp av kvalitativ innehållsanalys med en manifest ansats. Analysen resulterade i tre kategorier: att ha behov av information och vilja bli respekterad: att förlora kontrollen skapade rädsla och en känsla av nedstämdhet och att förlora en del av sitt moderskap.

The purpose of this thesis is to examine whether Swedish, Internet-based travel agencies, acting on a consumer market are working towards creating added value for their customers. If that is the case, how and why do they use such a mode of operation.The theoretical framework was based on Grönroos´ ?Augmented service offering?, which treats added value as an addition to the core service. The services offered on five of the larger companies´ websites on the market were examined and 3 representatives of the five companies were interviewed.The study shows that 2 of the examined companies did not produce any added value, while 3 of the companies did produce added value for the customer. The added value was generated through packaging of core-, facilitating- and supporting services for the purpose of differentiating the company towards competitors and generating service fees..

Syfte: Att undersöka en grupp sjukgymnasters erfarenheter och upplevelser av att använda rehabiliteringsplaner för patienter på strokeenheter i Landstinget Gävleborg.Design och metod: Deskriptiv kvalitativ design. Semi-°©?strukturerade intervjuer av fem sjukgymnaster. Kvalitativ innehållsanalys användes för databearbetning.Resultat: Sjukgymnasterna såg rehabplan som ett användbart arbetsinstrument i akut strokevård. Tidiga samtal om mål bidrog till att ge patienterna motivation och insikt om sin situation men hjärnskadan kunde försvåra patientdelaktighet.

Inom krigsvetenskapen har relativt lite forskning gjorts gällande kopplingen mellan stresshanteringsbehov och taktik/stridsteknik i svenska normativa taktikdokument. Den svenska försvarsmakten skall kunna verka vid olika klimat och motståndare. Svenska militära chefer skall kunna bemästra ålagd uppgift oavsett rådande omständigheter. Akut stress är något som dagens chefer kan komma att ställas inför, hur individen reagerar är inget som går att förutse. Det är dock avgörande hur chefen agerar ur ett taktiskt perspektiv, vilket i sin tur leder till hur framgångsrika uppdragen blir.

Induction motors, often referred to as the workhorse of the industry, play an important role in production today. Therefore, it's important to diagnose any faulty induction motor prior to failure to avoid costly and time consuming production stops.This thesis compares methods for diagnosing induction motors in operation, MCSA, Park's vector approach and the standard method used by Swedish industries today. By simulating broken rotor bars and short-circuit in one of the windings, each method is tested and the results are compared using matlab.The results need further verification due to uncertainties of the condition of the test motor, even though the experiment gives a hint of the different advantages of each method. A combination of the methods should be able to tell if the motor needs further examination..

The object of this essay has been to investigate the interlibrary loan service at the universitylibraries of Borås and Kalmar. For this purpose a quantitative and a qualitative methodhave been used.The main body of information consists of statistic data concerning the incoming interlendingorders for a three-month-period. In order to examine the circumstances under which theinterlending activity exists several interviews were made.The study showed that there are several important factors which together make up the complexitythat governs the interlending activity. What type of demand there is depends on theeducational level, whether the different study programmes have a broad or limited subjectorientation or not, and if the demand is of a constant or an inconstant nature. Well-establishedroutines at the information-desk and co-operation with the departments of the different studyprogrammes are important factors in keeping the knowledge of what books and serials areneeded up to date..

När en person blir svår sjuk och avlider är det en angelägen uppgift för sjukvården att stödja de anhöriga. Inom vissa vårdområden har man utarbetat särskilda program för hur detta ska gå till, medan man inom andra verksamheter förlitar sig på att den omvårdnad man ägnar patienter och anhöriga i allmänhet, ska räcka till även i denna situation. Denna uppsats bygger på intervjuer gjorda på en geriatrisk klinik där man hade lämnat en modell för uppföljning av de anhöriga och ännu inte byggt upp en ny. Anhörigomhändertagandet skiftade därför från fall till fall och jag ville ta reda på om detta slumpmässiga stöd räckte till. Fick de anhöriga tillräckligt stöd av sjukvården eller i sitt nätverk? Fanns kanske andra aktörer i samhället som täckte eventuella brister i sjukvården? Syftet med denna uppsats har varit att förstå anhörigas upplevelse av att förlora en närstående samt undersöka vilket behov av stöd de har före, vid och efter dödsfallet.

This thesis has been conducted at Saab Bofors Dynamics AB. The purpose was to investigate if a non-linear missile model could be stabilized when the optimal control signal is computed considering constraints on the control input. This is particularly interesting because the missile is controlled with rudders that have physical bounds. This strategy is called Model Predictive Control. Simulations are conducted to compare this strategy with others; firstly simulations with step responses and secondly simulations when the missile is supposed to hit a moving target.

In this thesis a rural network in Norrbotten, Sweden, has been to designed and planned with the purpose of improving distribution reliability by exchanging existing overhead lines with underground cables. General network design considerations are discussed as well as the ones for the specific low voltage grid. During the design phase the maximum power of domestic consumers has been estimated using Velander?s method. Currents, voltage drop and impedance of the network have been calculated and fuse operation and selectivity has been considered.
