I denna uppsats beskrivs och implementeras tre alternativa metoder för att skatta kovariansen mellan finansiella tillgångar. De utvärderas sinsemellan och jämförs med stickprovskovariansen. Utvärderingsmodellen innebär simulering av en aktiv portföljförvaltare i en verklighetstrogen miljö. Då kovariansen mellan finansiella tillgångar beräknas med stickprovsskattning blir skattningsfelet stort. Detta fel, eller brus, försämrar portföljförvaltares resultat och alternativa metoder eftersöks.

Syftet med den här uppsatsen var att genomföra en studie i frågan hur hälso- och idrottsturism kan bidra till att utveckla en destination. Ostseebad Kühlungsborn utgjorde en referenspunkt för på vilka sätt som Öland kan utvecklas som destination inom hälsa och idrott. Öland befin-ner sig 2012 i en stagnationsfas och aktörerna behöver skapa nya reseanledningar till ön. En anledning till att satsa på hälso- och idrottsturism är att det är två nya trender inom turismin-dustrin som kan kombineras för att utveckla en destination till att vara aktiv året om. Ostsee-bad Kühlungsborn är en bra referenspunkt för Öland då de kan leva på turismen året om, samt att de har ett stort utbud av aktiviteter inom hälsa och idrott.De tillvägagångssätten som har använts i den här uppsatsen är en induktiv ansats med fallstu-die som metod.

This thesis examines the deregulation reform of the Swedish railroad industry, focusing on passenger transport between 1988 and 2005. The purpose of the thesis is to examine the effects from the deregulation reform on prices, market concentration and to determine whether SJ (the state owned incumbent) has been conducting strategic behaviour in order to prevent new entrants to the market. The chosen method consists of interviews with the MD at SJ between 1988 - 1998 Mr Karl-Erik Strand, the transportation researcher at SSE Mr Gunnar Alexandersson. Statistical sources and companies financial reports have also been used. The results that I have found were besides the fact that the market concentration is still significant high and the profitability among the operators low, is that the prices has increased more than CPI during the period but the competitive tendering has resulted in lower government subsidies after the deregulation.

I denna undersökning är handledare under utbildning i fokus. Syftet är att se om det sker någon förändring under utbildningen och vad förändringen består av. Det är en kvalitativ studie med kvantitativa inslag. Materialet som använts är insamlat under två år av handledarkandidaterna i ett forskningsprojekt. Genom studier av hur handledarna förhöll sig till det narrativa materialet under en handledningstimme i början och slutet av utbildningen framträdde en bild som tydde på att handledarna förändrades.

Syftet med denna studie har varit att öka förståelsen för hur konflikter hanteras inom horisontella organisationer. Detta genom att studera hur Spotify upplever konflikters påverkan samt hur konflikter hanteras inom organisationen. Studien har utifrån en fenomenologisk ansats studerat konflikter och hantering av konflikter ur ett ledarskapsperspektiv. Datainsamlingsmetoden har varit semi-strukturerade intervjuer.I resultatet framkommer det att konflikter upplevs som positivt för individers och Spotifys utveckling då konflikter upplevs bidra till nytänkande och utveckling. Studien visar på att organisationer genom konstruktiv konflikthantering kan utvecklas.

The project has involved the development of two kinds of shooting targets in partnership with Marcus Bergkvist and Christopher Åkerblom. The project from the client was divided into two parts. This thesis discusses solutions for hands-on transport, development of tripods and an overall design. The second thesis affect resetting systems for the products.The work was done with a process and methodology based on design perspectives. This process has involved the search of relevant data which has provided the platform and opportunity for appropriate and purposeful design work.Concept development has been done using hand sketches and Photoshop, where a simple visualization of different concepts for the tripods has been produced.

Syftet med min uppsats är att undersöka hur lärare ser på behovet av utbildning i svenska som andraspråk samt undersöka vilka faktorer som påverkar språkinlärningen. Jag har valt att intervjua två verksamma lärare med lång erfarenhet av andraspråksundervisning. Mina informanter är överens om att trygghet är grunden för språkutveckling i ett undervisningsperspektiv. De betonar att i ett klassrum där det finns goda möjligheter för interaktion, aktiv produktion av muntlig och skriftligt språk i meningsfulla sammanhang, där skapas förutsättningar. Det ligger helt i linje med aktuell forskning.Enligt forskningen är lärarnas utbildning en påverkansfaktor när det gäller elevernas resultat.

I Sverige ökar stressrelaterade sjukdomar som sjukskrivningsorsak och det blir allt viktigare att satsa på preventiva insatser. Studenter i allmänhet, och däribland arbetsterapeutstudenter, konstateras i tidigare studier vara utsatta för stress. Upplevelse av stress under studietiden samt konsekvenser på aktivitetsutförandet ökar risken för att ta med beteendet in i kommande yrkesliv där arbetsterapeuter träffar patienter med stressrelaterade besvär. Därför är det viktigt att de själva inte har dessa problem. Syftet var att kartlägga om arbetsterapeutstudenter upplever stress i samband med studierna, och i så fall vad som utlöser den samt vilka konsekvenser detta får för aktivitetsutförandet i det dagliga livet.

Animals living in captivity are often subjected to various kinds of stress. Individuals within species can respond differently to the same stressor depending on differences in coping style and physiology. Active and passive coping is a common way to describe different coping styles in animals and it is likely that these strategies have a high heritability. Individuals with an active coping style are characterized by an urge of control and a higher level of aggression than individuals with passive coping style, who in general are more flexible and respond to stress by immobilisation to a greater extent. The aim of this bachelor?s thesis is to investigate the presence of different coping styles and personality types in dogs (Canis lupus familiaris) and horses (Equus ferus caballus) and to find fields of application for this information.

Environmental subsidies are used as incitements to farmers for development of sustainable land use. In 2014, applications for funding constructed wetlands were not available. This paper examines the environmental consequences of this lack of funding in one intensively cultivated region Skåne län, southern Sweden.A review of wetland applications between year 2007-2013 show that the average rate of applications has been 31 projects per year with a wetland size of 4,48 ± 1,61ha per project (mean±95% CI). Based on interviews, the result suggests that the lack of funding in one year leads to between 102 and 140 ha of constructed wetlands that is not built. This correspond to a total loss of increased nitrogen retention capacity between 6,0 and 91,7 tons/year and a loss of increased phosphorus retention capacity between 0,17and 2,1 tons/year in the drainage basins of Skåne.Further the interviews show that continuity of environmental regulations and funding is important for the farmers? interest in environmental measures.It is concluded that the total loss of increased retention capacity is small compared to the annual transport of nitrogen and phosphorus in the drainage basins.

Context. In today?s society we use smart cards in many areas, NFC is a smart card technology that allows contactless interaction between a reader and the tag, the tag is often in the form of a card. NFC can be used for various payment methods or as access card to a building which makes life easier. In previous studies, the technique has proven to be weak to attacks using an NFC reader connected to a computer.

They deliver door frames for indoor use for project oriented buildingsites, for these types of building sites the doorpost comes pre-assembled. DooriaAB wants to minimize transport to reduce impact on environment and thetransportation costs of pre-assembled doorframes, this thru simplifying themethod of assembly.The main purpose of this thesis has been to develop a prototype solution thatbrings the three parts of the doorframe together with the same properties regardingstability and tightness of joints as the current method of assembly. A profile ofdemands and wishes were created in collaboration with Mårten Dragstedt, DeputyDirector of Dooria Sverige ABBy following the chosen method the authors have been able to produce a fullyfunctional prototype that meet the demands that were put on the product. Catia V5R20 has been used as an aid during prototype construction and virtual tests.

Under lagring och transport av textila varor från Asien kan risken för mögelangrepp vara stor, något som sedan vid uppackning kan vara skadligt för hälsan. Situationen så som det ser ut idag kan medföra stora problem och kostnader hos textilföretag och att hitta möjliga åtgärder för att förebygga skador är därför av stort intresse. För att kartlägga problemen med mögelangrepp på textila material har både informationssökning och praktiskt arbete genomförts. Mögeltillväxt sker då det är gynnsamma betingelser med hänsyn till klimat, näring och syretillgång. För att mögeltillväxt inte ska angripa textila varor finns en rad förebyggande åtgärder som kan vidtas, åtgärder som alla handlar om att göra förutsättningarna på ett eller annat sätt ogynnsamma.
