The material is analyzed with a hermeneuticsapproach, which means that we have assumed facts and then built our work on trying to findan understanding and to draw our own conclusions based on the perspective that we found.Result & Conclusions:The results of this study show that the company needs to work on itscorporate culture. We have found a few points we would like to improve in the company weexamined. We believe that it is the company's reputation and it begins already in thecompany's own recruitment process it is the main finding from our study.Suggestions for future research:Interesting would be to seek employment with thecompany you want to investigate to see how the whole recruitment process goes on toperform deeper analysis, another idea would be to ask the employees that enjoy to work thereagainst those who does not enjoy to work at the company to find the basic building blocks ofcorporate culture to this particular company.

In this examination project I look into what ways upper secondary school students conceive themselves as politically influenced before they voted for the general election of 2010. The purpose is to examine which influences the upper secondary school surroundings and the classes of civic education are contributing with to students before they voted. As a method, I have used personal, semi-structural interviews on eight upper secondary school students who all voted for a party represented in the parliament. I have asked questions about how they believe their parents, the surroundings of their school and the classes of civic education have influenced them. To separate which influences primarily the upper secondary school and the classes of civic educations have had on the students, I have selected two comparison groups of four students in each.

The poultry red mite, Dermanyssus gallinae, is a common problem in poultry facilities, causing great discomfort for the hens and effecting the production economically. Few efficient acaricides are available and there is a need for new control methods since resistance has become a problem in some cases. The aim of this study was to evaluate the efficiency of the new liquid silica control agent Ectopar, on the poultry red mite. An initial in vitro test of Ectopar and its two components individually was performed, where live mites were sealed in together with filter paper impregnated with one of the three solutions prepared. The survival of the mites was thereafter recorded repeatedly during a period of 120 hours and compared to a control. For the field study, two poultry farms with different housing systems were used, one with furnished cages (farm 1) and one with a single tier floor system (farm 2).

Wood has always been an important material for people, and it is used for many applications. As for example, fuel for cooking and heating houses, construction materials and for constructing means of transport. Since wood also is a material that with time biologically degrades due to activity by micro organisms and wood fungi it is important to find ways to protect and further lengthen the life span of the material when in service. One method is to decrease the amount of water in the material by impregnation with an hydrophobic oil. The Linotech method which uses only pure linseed oil is one such possible method. The aim of this study was to investigate the possibility to at the same time impregnate and stain/colour wood samples of pine and spruce by using the Linotech method.

Syfte: Att bolag inte alltid styrs av sina ägare har varit betydande för marknadsekonomins utveckling. Införandet av aktiebolag sänkte riskerna samtidigt som möjligheterna ökade. I börsnoterade bolag finns ofta ett brett ägande vilket innebär risker vid tillvaratagandet av intressen. Ägare och ledning är sällan den samma och deras intressen skiljer sig ofta åt. För att minska riskerna har många länder infört olika bolagsstyrningskoder.

Syftet med föreliggande litteraturstudie var att undersöka om det ansågs finnas ett glapp mellan teori och praktik i sjuksköterskeutbildningen. Frågeställningarna var: 1. Vad anses vara anledningen till det eventuella glappet mellan teori och praktik i sjuksköterskeutbildningen? 2. Med hjälp av vilka redskap kan studenterna försöka sammanlänka det eventuella glappet mellan teori och praktik? Tio artiklar, som granskades enligt Polit m fl (2001) användes för att försöka få svar på frågeställningarna.

Efter revisionspliktens slopande år 2010 har fler förenklingar för småföretag blivit föreslagna angående revision och redovisning. En av dessa är slopandet av de jävsbestämmelser som är relaterade till revision för småföretag, nämligen redovisnings-, medelsförvaltnings- och byråjävet. Förslaget avsåg att förenkla för småföretag samt att öka möjligheterna för revisionsbyråers så kallade kombiuppdrag. Denna debatt har lett till ett lagförslag om ett slopande av dessa jävsregler vilket sedermera blivit avslaget med motiveringen att det skulle äventyra revisionens oberoende. Vi vill med denna studie undersöka vilka positiva och negativa aspekter som ett slopande av redovisningsjävsreglerna skulle resultera i samt vilka som skulle gagnas mest av en sådan förändring. De teorier som används som grund för denna kvalitativa studie är Principal-Agent teorin, Oberoende, Legitimitetsteorin samt Intressentmodellen, inom Principal-Agent teorin finns en delteori som heter Informationsasymmetrier.

This study represents the different factors that may have an influence on the budgetproposal in the local government for the revision. The revision in the local government is an important part of councillors and public insight into the different activities. The budget for revision decides how much of the activities runned by the local government can be observed by the elected representative accountant. The aim of the study is to see how the following variable affect the dimension of the budget appointed for revision. I denna uppsats har författarna studerat hur Landstinget i Uppsala Län styr och kontrollerar Uppsala Närakut. Syftet är att beskriva på vilket sätt detta sker och på vilka grundförutsättningar styrningssättet baseras.Den vetenskapliga teorin, som denna uppsats vilar på, består av de generella teorierna kring definiering av styrning och kontroll som härstammar från Forsell & Ivarsson Westerberg (2007) samt (Kotterman 2006). De mer specifika teorierna berör dels agent- och stewardshipteorierna, presenterade av Eisenhardt (1989), Davis et al. (1997) samt Van Slyke (2007) och dels styrning via incitament och informationsövervakning av Merchant & Van der Stede (2007) respektive (Lambright 2008). Dessa teorier behandlar kontraktsstyrning och hjälper oss att förankra förutsättningen för styrningen med relevant teori.

Safety in the construction industry has become a question of top priority in recent years. Despite a massive investment of time, money and knowledge, the occur-rence of fatal accidents in Sweden alone is around one a month.The purpose of this study is therefore to improve the safety on the construction site. By an examination of the role of the safety agents and their cooperation with the construction workers and supervisors as well as examine how safety agents can improve safety on the construction site, which is the goal of the study.Four questions were formulated based on the purpose and the goal of the study.The methods used to answer the questions were a questionnaire survey, multiple interviews, a literature review and a document analysis.The report describes the safety agent?s role as a complex one with many different tasks. The role of the safety agents is regulated in the health and safety law, but it can sometimes be difficult to interpret and the agents can therefore interpret their role differently.

Flera svenska kommuner använder sig av den amerikanska professorn Richard Floridas teori om den kreativa klassen och ?creative cities? i sin marknadsföring. Syftet med mitt kandidatarbete är att undersöka om svenska kommuner är kreativa enligt Floridas teori. En jämförande fallstudie har gjorts där tre kommuner som använder sig av Florida i sin marknadsföring har undersökts. Kommunerna är Södertälje, Botkyrka och Ronneby.

Problemformulering: Organisatoriska gränser orsakar i viss mån ett hinder för företags målfokusering; i ett franchiseföretag blir detta problem ännu mer komplext då gränserna tydliggörs i form av skilda ägarförhållanden. Vi vill i denna uppsats undersöka hur franchiseföretag hanterar de problem som uppstår på grund av dessa gränser. Syfte: Syftet med uppsatsen är att öka kunskapen om svårigheter och möjligheter med gränsöverskridande samverkan i ett franchiseföretag. Forskningsfråga: Vilka problem kan organisatoriska gränser ge upphov till och vilka möjligheter finns det att överskrida dessa? Vidare kommer uppsatsen även belysa hur utökade krav på anmälningsplikt och revisionsplikt har påverkat utvecklingen av revisorns roll.Metod:Det som är centralt i denna uppsats är tolkning av vad andra har sagt och uttryckt, uppsatsen har med andra ord sin utgångspunkt i hermeneutiken och den kvalitativa metoden sett utifrån ett företagsekonomiskt perspektiv.Resultat och slutsatser:Det är tydligt att revisorrollen anpassar sig mycket till tvingande instititutionell påverkan, rollen är mycket styrd av lagar och regler. Det har förts både för- och motargument i relation till lagförändringar gällande revisorns anmälningsplikt och revisionsplikten. I förlängningen har det visat sig att staten har via tvingande insititutionell påverkan tagit en plats som tillkommen principal till revisorrollen.Förslag tillvidare forskning:I och med att det inte har samlats in primär data i form av personliga intervjuer i denna studie har det inte funnits någon information om hur bland annat revisorer och företagsägare ser på dessa frågor idag.

The purpose of this essay is to describe how Boverkets Byggregler has affected the cost ofnewly built houses from 2003 to 2012, to Boverkets Vision 2025. The purpose is also to findagent-principal relations in the construction sector.When investing in an energy efficient house the operating costs are reduced compared to aconventional house. But due to the lower operating costs, the investment cost rises. In thisstudy, we find out if it is economically viable to invest in an energy efficient house comparedto a conventional house from the customer's perspective.The study's approach has been qualitatively where we in collaboration with Derome Hus hadaccess to three conventional reference houses and a passive house and data that was necessaryto conduct viability assessments on houses. We conducted five interviews with people fromDeromekoncernen and Varbergs kommun.The calculation methods we have used in this study are present value method, annuity methodand a sensitivity analysis.
