Föreliggande examensarbetes syfte är att belysa fem utvalda matematiklärares sätt att se på planeringen av sin undervisning, samt att se vilken roll kursplanen spelar i lärarnas planering. Arbetet baseras på en intervjustudie som är utförd på grundskolans senare del. Av lärarnas beskrivningar i intervjuerna att döma så planerar de ganska likt varandra. Lärarnas planering utgår främst ifrån läroboken, de ger också uttryck för, i sin beskrivning, att eleverna är en viktig utgångspunkt för planeringen. Lärarna använder inte kursplanen som ett direkt underlag för planeringen, men de ser läroboken som en förlängning av kursplanen och på så sätt menar de att undervisningen tillgodoser kursplanens mål.

Value analysis has long been neglected in epistemologist's accounts until its re-emergence with the tradition called ?virtue epistemology?, in particular with scholars following Ernest Sosa. In this pedagogical essay on advanced level we are focusing on obstacles that are hindering the moderating teacher?s role, to be fully developed in the classroom.

Grammatikundervisningens plats i skolan har förändrats genom historien och denna uppsats har för avsikt att undersöka om begreppskunskapen är viktigare än nyttan för elever med svenska som modersmål i grammatikundervisningen på gymnasieskolan idag. Med hjälp av en kvantitativ enkätundersökning utreds gymnasiepedagogers syn på ?grammatik? och grammatikundervisning. I definitionen av ?grammatik? framkommer mest frekvent av respondenterna att det handlar om språkets uppbyggnad, språkets struktur och en medvetenhet om språkriktighet.

Each December thousands of Swedish families sit down to watch the annual "Christmas calendar", a series containing 24 episodes. Since the start in 1960, the Swedish public service television company, Sveriges Television, have broadcast a Christmas calendar every year, and is now seen as a firm tradition, attracting audiences of all ages, though the main audience is children. Research has shown that children?s television programs to a certain extent have the same function as news journalism has in agenda setting. Media, together with feedback and interaction with other individuals, plays a big role in the process of socialization.

Recept upptäcktes redan på 1600-talet fast i en annan skepnad än i dag, nuförtiden är recepten kortfattade och uppstrukturerade, det utnyttjar kallskänkor genom att utveckla en kod, de ser ingredienserna fort. Kallskänksyrket har funnits sedan 1900-talet men inte med samma innebörd och arbetsuppgifter. I arbetet finns en beskrivning av atmosfären i köket, personalens uppdelning och utbildningens kursplan.Syftet med studien var att utforska om kallskänkor arbetar med recept under matlagningen. Forskningsmetoden grundades på kvalitativa intervjuer. Arbetet bygger på mitt intresse för recept som blev starten för utformningen av den kvalitativa intervjuguiden som användes.Överlag skiftar användningen av recept, en del använder kokböcker medan andra förvarar grundrecepten i huvudet.

The aim of this study is to examine new interpretations of homosexuality in Islam based on Scott Kugle?s book ?Homosexuality in Islam? and the documentary ?A Jihad for love? by Parvez Sharma. Through a theological perspective, a critical analysis is performed in order to find new interpretations and compare them with each other and with the Islamic legal tradition. Argumentative analysis is also used for both the book and the documentary for this essay.     Both Kugle and Sharma use new interpretations and arguments about love to find space for homosexuality in Islam. They use a Muslim language to have relevance with their discussions to Muslim readers and viewers.

Uppsatsen undersöker tillgängligheten på läromedel i ämnet musik. Främst då inom modern pop- och rockhistoria. Vi har intervjuat fem aktiva musiklärare och två rektorer. Vi ställde frågor rörande behovet av läromedel inom musik och pop- och rockhistoria. Deras syn på läromedel i musik och i pop- och rockhistoria och vad de själva använder sig av för läromedel.

After World War II a rapid expansion of the Swedish health care took place. Theexpansion was realised chiefly as a development of the hospitals and was bothproduced and financed mainly within the public sector. The financing consisted to ahigh degree of government grants from the state to the county councils.During the period for this examination (1945-1955) the public responsibility for thehealth care was expanded. This was expressed in the publicly financed system forhealth insurance and the cut down in the charges that the patients had to pay for thehospital care. These changes led to some discussions on the national level but reformscould on the whole, with exception for the suggested reform of the open health care,be implemented.This case-study performed on the county council in Värmland shows that the degreeof consensus was enhanced on the regional level.

Av tradition prioriteras trafiksäkerheten vid gestaltningen av vägens grönytor, men ytorna kan fylla fler funktioner än så. De perspektiv som det här arbetet belyser är trafiksäkerhet, skötsel, förhindrande av föroreningar, ekologi, trafikantupplevelse och estetik, rekreation och rörelse längs vägen samt produktion. Vägen har en fragmenterande effekt på landskapet, vilket påverkar växter, djur och kulturvärden, men rätt utformning och skötsel av vägkanterna kan minska vägarnas negativa effekter. Sveriges vägkanter omfattar idag långt över 200 000 ha, så det är inte svårt att se att förändring kan göra skillnad. Utformad och skött på rätt sätt kan dessa vägkanter ex.

This essay investigates, on the basis of the medieval letters, diplomas, how the medieval monasticism contributed to the maintenance of the Danish society's gender structures. The theoretical starting points for the study are gender and class structures and Marcel Mauss presented gift - giving theory. Finally, a continuous comparison is made with Catharina Andersson's results in her dissertation, in which she examines the social structure in the Swedish medieval society. The primary material in the study is the Danish diplomas. 41 diplomas were found relevant for this study.

The history of books and libraries in the Philippines starts after the arrival of the Spaniards in 1521. During the Spanish era, most of the libraries were established through the religious orders to support their own religious mission. The Americans came in the beginning of the 20th century and have had a decisive influence on the education system and the development of libraries in the Philippines. For the analysis, I have used the models of Michael H. Harris and Magnus Torstensson in their studies of library development.

The honour norm is strong within the Middle East but is scattered all over the world. As a result of immigration, the honorary context has become more established in Sweden. Violence, committed in the name of honour, is commonly executed by male family members. Thus, young men are forced, in some degree, to participate in the oppression and control of their sisters. Violence exercised in the name of honour, can be traced back to the patriarchal family system in which woman are subordinate to men.

Mass communication today stands for a great number of information in the developed welfare state of Sweden. This was also the case during the social and economic financial crisis in 2008-2011. At this point, the majority of the population chose to turn to the newspapers to look for further information. This essay seeks, in a comparative and theoretical way, and with the help of two theories of nationalism, to understand how the Swedish culture and tradition can be ex­plained via newspapers, and in what way these portray nationalism. What it also sets out to in­vestigate further is what kind of impact it might exercise over the population in its position as one of the leading providers of information.
