An increasing number of automotive supplier companies are investing in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) in order to gain cost advantages. This has happened in a rapid pace since many of these countries did not have any foreign direct investments (FDI) at the turn of the century. The problem now is for how long these countries will be able to maintain the low costs. One purpose was to create a model of country advantages for automotive supplier companies when relocating further production to CEE. This dissertation was written in cooperation with the Trelleborg Group.

Sheep production is the only animal production in Sweden that is increasing. Therefore,increasing knowledge of the production is of great interest. In order to run a viable sheepproduction, producers needs to be successful in the breeding of the animals and achievean economic surplus in the end. Lambs that are born healthy and vital have greaterconditions to perform high lamb weight gains and thus a successful production. Thereare many factors affect the survival, birth weight and early weight gain of the new bornlamb.

This qualitative study examines how emergency people are framed in Swedish evening-, and local newspapers during the forest fire in Va?stmanland, Sweden 2014. The study also includes if there is any difference between the framing due to the location of the newspaper. The study is based on qualitative text analysis. The theoretical basis is representation, framing theory, media image, media logic and a few conceptions from crisis communication theory.

Syftet med mitt examensarbete är att undersöka ifall införandet av en skoluniform skulle få bort kläders betydelse i dagens skola. Till min hjälp har jag använt mig av fem frågeställningar som alla handlar om kläders betydelse inom skolan. Den metod jag använt är kvalitativ, både observation och intervju. Jag valde, slumpmässigt ut åtta elever i årskurs 9 för intervju. Resultatet av både observationen och intervjuerna vittnar om att kläder har en stark betydelse för vem man är.

This thesis is a study over changes and similarities of people's activities in Berzelii park, with focus on the second half of the 19th century and present time. As one of the oldest public parks in Stockholm, Berzelii park has been a place for outdoor activity for more than a hundred years. During that time both the park and the society have undergone changes, but people are still using this green area in the city centre in a similar way as generations before have done. It is still a place for social gathering and during the summer month the park invite for optional and social activities such as a pause in the sun and pic-nic with friends. Some customs has disappeared like the 19th century social stroll, but through small changes in rules or design others have become given, like using the lawns as seating..

Syftet med uppsatsen är att undersöka eventuella skillnader i inställning och motivation införämnet engelska hos elever i två klasser i år 9 på en svensk skola i ett engelsktalande land ochen svensk skola i Sverige. Dessutom undersöks eventuella skillnader i undervisningsmetoder iämnet engelska i de båda klasserna och vad dessa skillnader kan göra för elevernas motivationtill språkinlärningen. I studien har använts kvalitativ observation av engelsklektioner i de bådaklasserna samt intervjuer av sex elever i varje klass. Observationerna kombinerade medintervjusvaren visar att motivationen hos eleverna på de båda skolorna skiljer sig marginellt,och att det som avgör är huvudsakligen undervisningsmetoderna..

Both authors of this study have been involved in the School of Business at Umeå University Student Association (HHUS) and is due this discovery deficiencies and problems within the association. The pressure to engage in HHUS is compared with other financial organizations around the country very low. This led us to consider why this is the case. From experience we know that communication between the association and its members are not functioning optimally. Communication itself is essential for motivating students and for that motivation should be high for the students to experience good quality on the engagement. The purpose of this study is to identify lines of communication and motivational factors that affect students who are members of HHUS to get involved or not.

Vårt syfte med arbetet var att undersöka med vilka metoder pedagoger arbetar för att främja barns talspråksutveckling. Detta har skett med hjälp av två kvalitativa metoder -observation samt intervju. Vi har intervjuat tre pedagoger samt observerat dem i olika lärandesituationer.De resultat som undersökningen har visat är att man använder sig av bland annat sång, rim, ramsor och samtal för att främja talspråksutvecklingen. En pedagog ansåg att det var viktigt att främja talspråksutveckling med bakgrund i att barnens verbala språkbruk är sämre idag än för tio år sedan. Syftet med studien var att få en djupare förståelse för identitetsskapande via sociala medier, och hur detta identitetsskapande påverkar individens självbild. Frågeställningen var: ?Vilka strategier använder unga vuxna i konstruerandet av sin nätidentitet på Facebook genom statusuppdateringar?? och ?Hur förhåller sig denna nätidentitet till deras självbild?? Som metod valdes Multi-Grounded Theory. Sex personer i åldern 18-23 år deltog i studien. Datainsamling skedde genom observation av informanternas statusuppdateringar, och personliga intervjuer kring dessa.

Syftet med arbetet var att undersöka klassrumsklimatet i en klass där det uttalat arbetades för att stärka kamratandan med bland annat social och emotionell träning (SET) och andra gruppstärkande övningar. Undersökningen har gjorts genom en enkät till klassen, en intervju med läraren och en observation av klassen under en skoldag. Resultatet visade att gruppen påverkades av många olika faktorer som gruppstorlek, känslan av trygghet och också rollerna hade betydelse för klassrumsklimatet. Demokratin i klassrummet bidrog till att eleverna vågade och lärde sig ta ansvar. Den fysiska klassrumsmiljön hade också inverkan på klimatet och förutom SET arbetade läraren även med olika former av samtal och en del massage..

The aim with this study is to prepare for a larger study, by gathering information about hunting enrichment, discuss which enrichment Parken Zoo in Eskilstuna have that are suitable to use in the larger study and report which observation methods that are used in other articles. In the larger study, the focus will lie on evaluation methods and measurable results. They have, during several years at Parken Zoo in Eskilstuna, developed different types of hunting enrichments for their carnivores, because hunting is a natural behavior that is hard to accommodate in captivity. The bigger project will integrate other zoos so that they can do a study on a larger group of animals, and because a lot of other studies in the same field only capture the results of few individuals.
