En kvalitativ fallstudie är gjord på utställningen Sinnrika människan på Naturhistoriska riksmuseet. Empirin har fåtts fram genom korta intervjuer och observation med museibesökare samt djupgående intervjuer med personer insatta i ämnet. Resultatet har sedan både analyserats individuellt och korsanalyserats, efter detta har resultatet kategoriserats. Slutsatsen för studien visade att det är många aspekter som spelar in vid skapandet av en interaktiv station, en av de viktigaste aspekterna är tydlighet om vad syftet med stationen är och hur den utförs..

Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka tonårsföräldrars tankar kring att deras minderåriga barn vill dricka alkohol. Detta undersöks genom observation av ett internetbaserat diskussionsforum som är riktat till i första hand föräldrar. Resultatet av studien visar att det inte finns några givna svar på hur man hanterar alkoholfrågan som förälder, vilket kanske tyder på att det finns en stor osäkerhet. Syftet med denna studie har varit att granska observationsmaterialet TRAS (tidig registrering av språkutveckling). Vi har undersökt vad pedagoger och rektorer anser om TRAS, dess innehåll och arbetet med materialet. Data består av intervjuer av sex pedagoger, på två olika förskolor, med erfarenheter av TRAS samt ansvarig rektor på dessa förskolor. Resultatet visar på att pedagogerna och rektorerna har uppfattningen om att det finns både fördelar och nackdelar med TRAS. Pedagogerna och rektorerna är övervägande positiva till TRAS och upplever att det är ett bra hjälpmedel och komplement i arbetet med barns språkutveckling..

This paper used a qualitative technique from a social scientific perspective, a model based on Hewitt and his theory of the self-concept. The purpose of this study was to investigate why some elite athletes experience troublesome periods after their career ending. Interviews were performed with five elite athletes with varying experiences after career ending. The length of the elite athlete careers vary between 7 to 17 years. Two groups were made based upon experiences after career ending.

The purpose of the thesis was to map the hydraulic load on the Knivsta river from stormwater runoff, and build a platform for further studies of pollution loads on the rivers ecosystems. New residential areas are planned to be built in Knivsta municipality and it will have an impact on stormwater flows to Knivsta river. To examine the impact this will have, simulations were made in the area as it stands today and after expansion work. The work includes calculation of flows from the populated areas but also from the catchment area around it consisting of woodlands and fields. Because of expected climatic changes which may affect rainfall, the simulations have been performed with different return periods for rainfall data.

Studiens syfte var att undersöka hur utvalda grundskollärare i de tidigare åren arbetar med andraspråkselever i matematikundervisningen med fokus på problemlösning. Detta då vi visste att språket har en betydande roll i matematiken och är en kritisk aspekt för andraspråkselever. Data samlades in genom fem intervjuer med verksamma lärare och en observation av en matematiklektion som hade fokus på problemlösning. Detta resulterade i att vi upptäckte att lärare inte anpassar sin matematikundervisning specifikt för andraspråkselever. De tog dock upp exempel på svårigheter som kan uppstå för andraspråkselever i problemlösningsuppgifter.

This study is an assignment from the council of Södra Småland county to investigate how equality between boys and girls progresses at compulsory schools in Kronoberg county. The study was undertaken to find suggestions on how work with equality could best be stimulated.The key question was to elaborate how a decentralized rule and structural context of an organisation can affect an implementation of political decisions. The methodological approach adopted can be defined as inductive, it was analysed how the respondents from some selected schools in Kronoberg county themselves relate to the concept of equality between men and women and their experience and understanding of how the concept of equality between sex is understood in their work at school.School-legislation today demands that active measures are undertaken to promote equality between boys and girls and in general almost all the respondents of my study describe equality as an utterly important question. My findings although, at the same time, indicate a gap between rhetoric and practice. The findings of my study suggest that structural relations and a decentralised organisation can constitute a hindrance for implementing equality between men and women in schools.

The product structure of the fuel tank installation is one of the most complex product areas at Scania. Caused by the number of parameters, which affect the fuel tank installation, a product structure is created which is very difficult to handle. Knowledge exist that the structure in a nearby future will be considerable more complex. The purpose of the study has been to understand in why this complexity exist and find ways to break the trend of a growing product structure. The goal was to achieve a more standardized fuel tank installation.A theoretical study was performed in order to bring knowledge in relevant areas both in general theory but also in documentation at Scania.

This is a study of the work of a Danish music teacher at a free school (grade 1 9) in Copenhagen. The teaching is based explicitly on playing in ensemble and the pupils play at a high artistic level compared to a normal school. Data collection was made during three days with the help of observation, video recording and qualitative interviews. The report contains video clips where the pupils and the teacher play together. The great differences between this model of teaching and the normal, lie in the teacher participation in the music making, the central role of the rhythms, the early start (grade two), the form of songs and arrangements and the lack of notation in favor of music making by ear.
