This essay examines the policy process of specialist medical training in three Swedish counties. The essay will first describe the policy process. Secondly the politicians parti-cipating in the process is examined. Thirdly, it is tested whether it is possible to analyze the policy process based on Ostrom's theories of cooperation around a common pool resource. In this case, the common pool resource is specialized medical practitioners skills that the Swedish county councils must collaborate on to competence should be sufficient for the county council needs, something that is not the case today.One conclusion of the study is that the health care law is not clear enough when it comes to who is responsible for providing a sufficient number of specialists.

This paper attempts to display how five teachers of social studies use and relate to the policy documents and their instructions on gender. To penetrate the subject, five teachers were intreviewed. Each interview focused on how the curriculum attempts to guide teachers regarding gender, sex differences and equality of opportunity. The collected information was processed, analyzed and discussed using gender studies and discourse theory.The results show that the interpretation and usage of the curriculum is very subjective and varies greatly between all the interviewed teachers. Their personal interpretation proves to be crucial when it comes to making reality of the stated goals in the curriculum, concerning actively working towards equality of opportunity between sexes.

This thesis aims to study whether the Swedish corporate law is in need of additional rules regarding the composition of the board of directors from a gender equality point of view. Sweden is internationally a state that is far ahead when it comes to creating equal opportunities for all its citizens. The Swedish labour market consist of men and women to an equal degree, although this is a phenomena that is not reflected on the leading positions in the larger limited corporations listed on the stock exchange. This is a trend that definitely needs to be attended to, since women can provide crucial knowledge that is important not only to the individual corporation but also to the society as a whole. This is strengthened by the fact that demographic differences in boards stimulates creative solutions and well reasoned suggestions.The opponents to legal measures regarding affirmative action base their arguments on the fact that the shareholders right of ownership is limited as a result of such measures and also that rules regarding self-regulation through corporate governance is preferable.

SkatteupplÀgget inbegriper tre transaktionsled, dÀr det första ledet innebÀr att ett sÀljande svenskt aktiebolag underprisöverlÄter en nÀringsfastighet till det svenska handelsbolaget. Det andra ledet Àr att de nederlÀndska delÀgarna avyttrar sina andelar i det svenska handelsbolaget samt fastigheten, det vill sÀga fastighetspaketet, till ett utomstÄende köpande aktiebolag i Sverige.

The frequency of innovative procurement is currently very low in Sweden. Innovative procurement is to procure unknown solutions to a defined problem or need for which it sometimes has not yet been established on the market.  Current Swedish procurement legislation does not prevent innovation procurement, however, it limits official authorities to actively work with innovative companies to develop new solutions. Furthermore, some conflicts arise between the Swedish procurement legislation and the basic principles concerning public procurement developed under EU law, which must be considered in all procurements. Additionally, there is not a specific procurement procedure designed for innovative solutions in the current legislation.On the 15th of January 2014 three new directives on procurement rules were adopted with the general objective to simplify the procurement process and to make the whole system more flexible. A new procurement procedure has also arisen called innovation partnership.

Sedan den svenska Försvarsmakten ingÄtt som medlem i NATO- samarbetet PFP (Partnership for Peace) Àr Àven Sverige sedan en tid tillbaka involverade i konflikten i Afghanistan. Mycket av det doktrinÀra arbetet i lÀnder, involverade i dessa konflikter, har varit inriktat mot irreguljÀra konflikter och Counterinsurgency-operationer. Stora mÀngder forskning görs inom Àmnet bland annat av den franska COIN-teoretikern David Galula. Galula utkom 1964 med sin bok Counterinsurgency Warfare: Theory and Practice, och Àr internationellt erkÀnd som ett av de stora namnen inom COIN-teorin.Den sovjetiska invasionen av Afghanistan Àr en av modern tids största militÀra operationer.

Our interest about interdisciplinary teaching has grown during our time at Högskolan Dalarna and especially during the subject physical education. It became clear that people learn in different ways. The theoretical education in school benefits the visual and auditory strong learners but the kinesthetic strong learners find it more difficult to absorb the information. We argue that integrating subjects is a good way to mix theory and practice and thus gives more students an opportunity to learn the content of the subject. The intention of this examination paper is to investigate the relationship between the attitudes of the teachers regarding interdisciplinary teaching, the practical restrains, possibilities and the presence of interdisciplinary teaching at three different schools.

The aim of the study was to investigate the crimes and punishments that were commonly occurring between the years 1601-1651, and how the distribution was between men and women represented in the court in district Sjuhundra and Njurunda district. To answer these questions, a quantitative examination of court records conducted in which the crimes and punishments have been categorized. The results that have emerged have been the basis for the conclusions issued in the essay. The results showed that the most common target types were various civil and propertycase and the most common punishments were sentenced to fines and settlements. It was predominantly men who were in the court, the proportion of women was between 13-22%.

The Profession of Real Estate Agents has by tradition been a male profession. However during later years the profession has changed. It is now many young women that are pursuing a career as a Real Estate Agent.In the light of this background we have researched how Real Estate Agents employed by FastighetsbyrÄn and Svensk Fastighetsförmedling perceive their profession from an equality perspective.The investigation has been limited to include the counties of VÀrmland and NÀrke and have been conducted by interviewing Real Estate Agents of different age and sex and the managers of the firms.The study show that the Real Estate Agents perceive their profession in a positive way and that the work is divided equal. However it emerged that there were a division regarding different real estate types in certain agencies. The Real Estate Agents believe that the gender of the manager is of no importance.

Trade is the driving force for economic development. A greater equity in international trade can improve the livelihoods and the well being of producers in developing countries. The small-scale farmers have limited resources and have difficulties to get access to the international market. As a result of this, the Fair Trade movement has been developed and has now formed a trading partnership between the producer and the consumer. This study analyses if the Fair Trade movement can be a way for the workers in developing countries to achieve more justice in their production manner in the international trade of cut flowers and continue to be an important competitor of these products, but with better livelihood conditions. My method has been to do a comprehensive literature study of the Fair Trade movement, in which I describe the certification process, and the market of Fair Trade in Sweden.

The number of women in Swedish firms of accountant is not lower then the number of men, but when we compared the number of chartered auditors, the number of women are low compared to men. This is connected to the public debate that is mainly emphasising that there are no differences between men and women and therefore the sexes should be treated equal. The method used is a qualitative study and the primary data was collected through interviews. The respondents consist of members, women as well as men, from eighteen auditors in Malmö and Kristianstad. The result shows that both male and female characters are needed in the work on the firm of accountants.

The purpose of this thesis is to compare if a charter company's attitude and vision of service can be reconciled with the attitudes and visions that the customers have in the same area. In order to carry out the study a qualitative approach is used. The data has been collected by interviews, focus groups and observations. The framework is theories on the subject of customer satisfaction, quality of service at customer meetings, Self-Service technologies, quality assurance and gap in service.The study has concluded that the approach to service is relatively equal between the company and customers, but the future visions differ. Focus group participants have been thinking bigger and further into the future, while the company focuses more on specific functions.

Med denna uppsats har vi velat ta reda pÄ hur singlar över 30 Är upplever sitt singelskap samt hur de förhÄller sig till att inleda partnerskap och att skaffa barn. Singel Àr ett begrepp som inrymmer mÄnga olika aspekter och perspektiv. Genom individuella intervjuer har vi tagit del av 4 kvinnliga singlar och 4 manliga singlars egna upplevelser, alla Àr över 30 Är och bosatta i mellan Sverige. Vi har analyserat det empiriska materialet vi fÄtt fram med hjÀlp av vÄr teoretiska utgÄngspunkt som berör modernitetens samhÀlle dÀr individen skapar sin sjÀlvidentitet och livsstil utifrÄn sin kontext. Singlarna har givit oss en bild av deras liv och deras instÀllning till den norm om parrelationer och att skaffa barn som finns i vÄrt samhÀlle.

Antalet anhörigvÄrdare i Sverige Àr mÄnga. För att de anhöriga ska orka vÄrda sina nÀrstÄende 24 timmar om dygnet, sju dagar i veckan behöver det finnas ett stöd. De anhörigstöd som finns varierar frÄn kommun till kommun. Ett anhörigstöd som har utarbetats för att underlÀtta insatsbehovet Àr COAT- Carers Outcome Agreement Tool som syftar till att kartlÀgga anhörigas behov, planera och följa upp anhörigstöd. COAT har en grund i partnerskapsmodellen och i modellen ses den anhörige som experten pÄ situationen runt den nÀrstÄende.
