Likvärdiga betyg i matematik : Utvärdering av mätmetod

Syftet med studien var att undersöka om en matematisk diagnos kan användas för att bedöma hur likvärdigt betyg sätts. Studien visar att diagnosen indikerar skillnader i likvärdighet som ligger i linje med tidigare forskning. En mer detaljerad undersökning där diagnosen jämförs med nationella prov skulle ge ett säkrare svar angående diagnosens tillförlitlighet.Diagnosens förmåga att förutsäga elevernas betyg i första matematikkursen i gymnasiet var god. Sambandet mellan diagnos och gymnasiebetyg var starkare än sambandet mellan diagnos och grundskolebetyg. Detta kan ha flera orsaker: (i) gymnasielärarna som konstruerat diagnosen har endast tagit med uppgifter som sammanfaller med första? gymnasiekursen, (ii) grundskolor sätter betyg på olika grunder, (iii) elevernas matematikkunskaper förändras över sommarlovet..

Publicity is argued to have relatively great impact on attitudes and behaviours of consumer. Especially great is the influence of negative information. At the same time it is likely for brands to be subject to negative publicity. Since companies are investing gigantic sums into buidling strong and positive associations around their brands it is of great economic interest to have a better understanding how negative publicity influence brand equity and what factors might moderate this effect. This thesis focuses on brand strength as a moderating factor of negative publicity.

The foundation for this thesis lies in whether or not, and how, the body representation in printed commercials, specific products directed to the body (shampoo, body lotion etc.), has changed during the last fifty years. Four years have been chosen because of the changes in society that we believe might have had an impact. The commercials that have been picked out are the ones that best represent the general view of the body. We have found that the changes when it comes to body presentation has followed the social development to a certain degree, but it is difficult to say how much the society has had an affect on the body ideal in advertising. Varumärkesbyggande genom marknadskommunikation : En fallstudie av varumärket Hollister

This study aims to describe how a company behind a well-established brand in the fashion industry has strategically chosen to communicate with their target market. Interviews with four individuals in different positions within the company have generated qualitative data, which is presented and analyzed in relation to the theoretical frame of reference in this study. The results show that the company does not use conventional marketing, but relies rather on marketing based word-of-mouth generated by its customer base due to its unique store concepts. Previous research has shown that this type of marketing strategy is effective and beneficial to the brand equity, a conclusion that is demonstrated to also apply to the survey object of this study. This thesis is a study of Facebook users? beliefs attitudes and behaviour towards personalised adverts on the site, using Wang & Suns theory about the relationship between beliefs and attitude toward online advertising (ATOA) and the connection between attitude and behaviour. The result, based on qualitative research and interviews, will introduce a deeper understanding and interpretation of users? beliefs, attitudes and behaviour toward personalised adverts. The result showed that people perceive the site?s personal adverts as intrusive and interfering with their personal space and the purpose of the site.

Vilseledande Underhållning : Ungdomars Attityder till Dold Viral Marknadsföring

In this paper, we examine the attitudes of 16- to 19-year olds towards stealth viral marketing in the form of videos posted on websites such as Youtube. Apart from their general attitudes towards the phenomenon, we were also concerned with their views on the ethics involved in this marketing method and how this affects their view on the companies behind the advertising. To accomplish this, we administered a survey to a sample chosen by convenience. Using the Persuasion Knowledge Model and prior research on the subject, we then analyzed the gathered data and reached the conclusion that the respondents in our sample were mainly positive towards stealth viral marketing in this particular form, that they generally did not consider it unethical and that even though most considered the companies to be responsible for such videos, teenagers were not likely to take negative actions against them if they found out that a video that they had seen was in fact a stealth viral video..

Sambandet mellan institutionellt ägande och utdelning ? en studie av svenska börsnoterade bolag

Uppsatsens syfte är att undersöka huruvida ett samband finns mellan institutionellt ägarskap och svenska företags utdelning. Om ett samband råder är avsikten att med statistisk signifikans säkerställa sambandet utifrån olika ägarkategoriseringar. Undersökningen baseras på 2007 års resultat av 261 företag på Stockholmsbörsen och NGM Equity Resultatet påvisar ett signifikant negativt samband mellan ägarkategorierna alla och övriga institutioner. Försäkringsbolag, pensionsrelaterade företag och fondförvaltare har ett negativt samband som inte går att statistiskt säkerställa. Resultatet kan tolkas utifrån två olika ägarstrategier, aktivt och passivt ägande, vilket medför att de har olika synsätt på utdelning..

Within the subject of retouching there is an ongoing debate about whether fashion retailers should retouch their ads or not. There has been a large amount of criticism to the communication of stereotyped beauty ideals that is used by companies in their marketing. The stereotyped ideals also contribute to negative psychological effects among people. Stock Price Reaction on Equity Issue Announcement : En eventstudie om hur annonsering om nyemission påverkar aktiekursen

Vårt examensarbete handlar om utagerande barn som har sociala svårigheter i förskolan. Syftet med arbetet var att undersöka vilket bemötande pedagogerna har gentemot utagerande barn samt vilka metoder och strategier som används i arbetet för att integrera dessa barn. I arbetet var vårt mål även att undersöka om de utagerande barnens föräldrar är med i pedagogernas arbete, svårigheter som kan uppstå i arbetet och om eventuellt andra resurser finns tillgängliga för både de utagerande barnen och pedagogerna på förskolan. Dessa presenteras i litteraturgenomgången och diskuteras sedan i samband med resultatet i diskussionsdelen. Genom en kvalitativ intervjuundersökning med sex pedagoger från olika förskolor i södra Skåne har vi fått fram svar på uppsatsens frågeställningar där enstaka verkliga fall har presenterats av de intervjuade pedagogerna..
