The purpose of this program is to increase innovation capability in Sweden that will result in new companies, patents and economic growth. The results from this study might give some direction to future innovation initiatives, but should primarily serve as a tool for the PIEp participants. The study will focus on investigating the creation of the program as well as the development of its strategy. From weaknesses and strengths within the strategy of the program the study should also attempt to show its future potential.

Secondary schools have for decades debated whether they promote social reproduction which is considered to generate the homogeneous student compositions. The gap between the academic programs and vocational education programs is considered to increase. What in recent years has appeared in research is that the gap is increasing most tend to be in the specific academic program, particularly in science. This paper's intention is to describe the science program at a local level and the pupils who were admitted to the science program autumn 2009 on the basis of an educational sociological perspective. The survey consisted of a census in which all students were given the opportunity to answer a questionnaire.

Det pågår en skolpolitisk debatt om andelen kärnämnen respektive karaktärsämnen inom gymnasieskolans teoretiska och praktiska program. Syftet med studien var att undersöka om det finns en skillnad i studiemotivation bland gymnasielever i kärnämnen respektive karaktärsämnen beroende på om de går ett teoretiskt program eller ett praktiskt program. Deltagarna i undersökning var elever på ett gymnasium från den sista årskursen dels från ett teoretiskt program, Naturvetarprogrammet (NV) och från ett praktiskt program, Omvårdnadsprogrammet (OP). Metoden som undersökningen använde sig av var en enkät som tog upp området motivation till kärnämnen och karaktärsämnen. Resultatet visade att motivationen hos elever på det teoretiska programmet var högre för kärnämnet än vad det var för elever på det praktiska programmet, de hade en högre motivation i sitt karaktärsämne.

The overall purpose of this study has its starting point in theories about the consuming society and its advertising. I have examined what kinds of methods that are being used in TV-commercials for beauty products, to influence the consumers. To study advertising, a semiotic method, symbolic interactionism and other theories which discuss symbols and influences, have been used. Six different TV-commercials for beauty products have been examined.The results from this study indicate that the advertiser apply to feelings such as, happiness, a sense of satisfaction, status and success, to affect the consumers behaviour. The findings in this research are discussed in the light of different theories which deal with the significance and the meaning of symbols..

Due to an increasing amount of people being put on a sick-list the issue of work health has come to receive a lot more attention. To confront the problem, different varieties of keep-fit measures have been launched in the workplace. A prime example of such a measure can be found at Centralsjukhuset Kristianstad, which this survey is investigating. The primary goal of this study is to investigate the use of the Keep-fit measures program and to identify what motivates the employees to utilize this program. Studien ger också svar på frågan om IV-elever trivs med att läsa programmet och om de börjar en gymnasieutbildning efter IV. This thesis has been done in order to ease the process of drawing schematics ofelectrical wiring. The need arose after demand from the government due to a seriesof incidents that took place during the revision of the nuclear power plant in year2009.The task of the project has been to create a computer program that can generate agraphical representation of the electrical components relations. The basis for theprogram has been an example of how the client wants the graphical representation tolook. During the course of the project weekly meetings have occured in which theclient has reviewed the work.The result of the project is a program written in Visual Basic Applications that can berun in Microsoft Excel. The program is capable of generating graphics for a majority ofthe cases.
