The aim of this study was to describe how nurses cope with their daily stress at work. A literature review was made to answer the research question, data was gathered from two databases; Academic Search Elite and Medline (via Pubmed). The result which was based on 20 scientific articles showed that nurses used problem-focused and emotional-focused coping strategies to deal with the stress at work. Most of the nurses used emotional-focused coping strategies by practise some kind of physical activities, avoid and take distance from the problem. Using these strategies was negative correlated with burnout and psychological health.

The Afghan war post 9/11 has become the source of multiple case studies. Recent studies suggest that variations in domestic support for deployment of troops in Afghanistan can be explained by means of the strategic narratives provided by the policymakers of the contributing state; a strong consistent narrative increases public support. Scholars recognize a Swedish catch-all narrative, which suggests weakens the narrative, thus raising the uncertainty among the public. This thesis investigates the projection of Swedish strategic narrative through elite Swedish newspapers. The content analysis reveals an inconsistency between the policymaker?s formation of the strategic narrative and the narrative projected by individual newspapers.

Forskning har visat att människor i allmänhet har positiva attityder till polisen. Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka ungdomars attityder till den svenska polisen. Det undersöktes om polisens olika grad av våldsamt agerande påverkade deltagarnas uppfattningar och om attityderna skilde sig gentemot kvinnliga respektive manliga ordningspoliser. En egenkonstruerad enkät innehållande fyra olika berättelser delades ut i tre gymnasieskolor. Deltagarna var 88 unga kvinnor och 42 unga män som studerade på föreläsningsbaserade program.

SammanfattningSyftet med litteraturstudien var att beskriva sjuksköterskans kunskap samt attityd tillbarn med postoperativ smärta. Metoden som författarna använt sig utav var sökningari databaserna Academic Search Elite, Med Line samt manuellt.Till litteraturstudien användes 14 vetenskapliga förgranskade vetenskapliga artiklar.Med hjälp utav Benner och Wrubels omvårdnads teori tydliggörs sjuksköterskans roll.Resultatet visade att sjuksköterskans kunskap, attityd samt smärtlindring till barn medpostoperativ smärta var undermålig samt bristfällig. Även kommunikationen mellansjuksköterska samt förälder var bristfällig. Smärtskattningsinstrument existerar menendast en liten del av sjuksköterskorna hade kunskap, god attityd eller tid till attanvända dem Författarna anser att föreliggande studie är av betydelse för att skapa endebatt samt föra upp ämnet i ljuset. .

Background: The early relations are the most important relationship. The child is totally dependent of caring. A child being neglected during the early years suffers consequences for the rest of their life. Aim: The aim of this study was to find out about the promoting factors for mother and child attachment during the first year. Methods: A literature review was chosen for this study.

Syfte; Syftet med denna litteraturöversikt var att beskriva upplevelsen av vad som skapar en meningsfull tillvaro samt hur sjuksköterskan kan stödja och främja en meningsfull tillvaro för de äldre vid särskilda boenden. Metod; Studien genomfördes som en litteraturöversikt. Artiklar publicerade mellan åren 2000-2012 söktes i databaserna CHINAL, ELITE, PubMed, SweMed samt i tidskriften Vård i Norden. Resultat; Resultatet visade på att upprätthållandet av kroppens fysiska och mentala förmågor hade stor inverkan för den upplevda hälsan. Social gemenskap, goda vårdrelationer och ett aktivt delagande i den egna vardagen ansågs även placera den äldre i ett sammanhang, vilket också grundade för meningsfullhet och välbefinnande.

Synen en individ har på arbete och tron på sin förmåga inom yrkeslivet formas i många fall redan under tonåren. Anknytningsrelationerna till föräldrarna och det sociala stödet inom en familj påverkar den enskilda individens karriärsidentitet och framtida yrkesval. Studien syftar till att belysa aspekter av hur den upplevda synen på tonåren i efterhand gällande familjerelationer, skolgången och synen på arbete har spelat roll för enskilda individers nuvarande yrkesval, karriärsidentitet, och tron på den egna förmågan. Studien har genomförts genom kvalitativa intervjuer av en grupp chefer (med 5 chefer och 4 icke-chefer), och visade bland annat på att cheferna upplevde ett större socialt stöd från sin familj under tonåren, jämfört med icke-cheferna. Resultatet diskuteras utifrån aspekter som berör det sociala stödet betydelse för framtida karriärsval, och vikten av skolans betydelse för framtida yrkesval och karriärsidentitet.

För att goda viktresultat ska uppnås måste sjuksköterskan involvera hela familjen i omvårdnaden runt det överviktiga barnet eller tonåringen. Långvarigt stöd från sjuksköterskan är nödvändigt för att förändra familjens livsstil. The purpose of this thesis is to analyze the construction of consensus in commune-collaborations. By a review of written material combined with elite interviews we have been able to follow the decision-making and the forming of consensus, in a commune-collaboration called NOSAM, in which they have decided to use consensus as a decision method. The thesis is based on a case study and we have decided to follow a specific issue that has been discussed for some time.We have created an instrument based on the ideal of deliberative democracy, through which we have been able to examine whether the decision-making in NOSAM can be described as a deliberative process or if consensus is formed by other incentives.The study shows that the decision-making in NOSAM cannot be described as a deliberative process, although there are some elements of deliberation. Consensus is formed in a proposition drawn up by the officials for the commune-representatives to agree on. Afterwards, the decision has to be brought up in each commune before reaching a final decision in NOSAM.Our opinion is that having consensus as the decision method leads to difficulties when deciding on bigger issues..

Ruth Wodak has previously analyzed the rhetoric by other European right-wing-populist parties like FPÖ in Austria and has asked for other researchers to analyze the speech used by right-wing-populist and extremist parties to get a better understanding for just how these parties construct their different enemies.

Styrketräning efter stroke har visat sig ge positiva effekter av muskelstyrka och kan ge förbättrad balans och funktionell förmåga. En ökad muskelstyrka ses som en viktig aspekt vid motorisk rehabilitering. Syftet med studien är att kritiskt granska vetenskapliga artiklar gällande styrketräning av nedre extremitet för personer med diagnosen stroke. Studien utfördes som en litteraturgranskning med litteratursökningar i databaserna Academic Search Elite, AMED/webspirs, CINAHL/webspirs och Medline/PubMed.

Information technology is increasingly used in healthcare. New methods, such as apps and computer programs and Internet-based treatments are introduced to treat various medical diagnoses. Increased demand for help in mental illness means that it is necessary to develop alternative assessment and treatments to traditional treatments that may be offered by primary care and specialist psychiatry. Government and Local Authorities and Regions (SKL) have agreed to support, and treatment on the web is part of that development. The work is all about, and how Child and Adolescent Psychiatry ( Bup ) , use psychological e- services, and apps for the treatment of adolescents and the types of psychological e-treatments for adolescents are available in Sweden today.  Methods used are interviews and literature studies, where I examined the use of computerized psychological treatments in Västernorrland and Stockholm County Council.
