Due to the developments in today's gender discussions, this essay aimed at investigating the gendered constructions and encouragements to consumption. As a former fashion student I have a special interest in the commercial constructions featured in fashion magazines, especially since advertising, fashion and perceptions of gender have long walked hand in hand. Just as feminism studies have shown femininity being a fluid identity, recent studies of masculinities, media and culture are also showing changes in the depictions of men.The aim was to clarify how fashion magazines encourage men and women to consume products and ideals, and also discuss the gender constructions occurring in the junction of editorial and commercial text (articles and advertisements). The analysis was thereof based on three main questions:-       How is consumption encouraged in male and female fashion magazines?-       What kind of gendered pattern appears in the junction of advertisement and editorial text?-       With regard to the gender constructions, what is the reader encouraged to consume?The theoretical framework of the analysis was based on gender studies and political economy, mostly describing a commercial perception of feminine journalism and a new metrosexual expression in men?s fashion and lifestyle magazines.By using a combination of quantitative (content analysis) and qualitative (semiotics) approach two fashion magazines, Elle and King Magazine (published in May 2013) were used as representatives of fashion magazines in general.The results showed clear differences between the sexes.

Denna undersökning syftar till att undersöka och utvärdera den agila projektmetodiken med inriktning på Scrum. Vattenfallsmetoden berörs även med avsikt att tjäna som kontrast till agil projektmetodik och Scrum. Att arbeta utefter en specifik projektmetod eller anamma ett agilt förhållningssätt kan bidra till att rätt produkt utvecklas och att undvika att projektet misslyckas. Undersökningen baseras på tre grundpelare; litteraturstudie, intervjuer och undersökning av befintliga studier. Dessa ligger till grund för de resultat som presenteras och diskuteras i uppsatsen med avsikt att kartlägga förekommande fenomen i projekt bedrivna efter en agil metod.

My objective for this project was to create a short but thrilling 2D-animation intended as promotion for an online comic book. The purpose of the project was to learn more about animation and graphics, to further my artistic skills and to learn how to work in Adobe After Effects. I also wanted to learn more about scheduling, project methods and how to handle stress. During the ten weeks of the project I have created the story, the storyboard, the character design, the backgrounds and the animation. The voice over was recorded with the help of a fellow student who also made the music and the sound effects.

It is with scholarship from these that this Website has been possible. The work whit the ?Art school? started in the autumn of 2005 and ended in May 2006 on distance from Stockholm towards Blekinge technology school in Karlshamn. The Webb place is for the general public, but most for people who have interest in art and for those how want to learn more painting in different mediums. The main programming languages have been PHP and HTML in combination with databases in MySQL. The final result was a functional, professional and informative homepage with a simple and pedagogical application for the employees.

På Karolinska Sjukhusets akutklinik i Solna har man upplevt problem med att personalen får lägga mycket tid på att besvara på patienters frågor som man många gånger tror beror på brist av information. Syftet med studien var att visa på hur ett informationssystem skulle kunna öka den s.k. informationssystems-framgången för Karolinska Sjukhuset med fokus på kopplingen mellan organisationen och patienterna. Detta gjordes genom att skapa två prototyper med hjälp av Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator samt Axure RP som sedan kördes via          en iPhone. Studien ämnade även utvärdera dessa produkter för att hitta eventuella användbarhetsproblem som kan komma att sänka en potentiell användarens nöjdhet.

The aim of this thesis is to examine how the identity of the public librarianwith regard to reading is manifested in the library field. The approaches thatare taken to reading and readers are examined as well as the consequencesdifferent approaches might have. The empirical material is based on 93articles published in Swedish library journals. The theoretical andmethodological starting point is discourse analysis.
