Studiens syfte var att undersöka kriminalvårdens centrala riktlinjer för psykisk ohälsa bland anstaltsklienter och om dessa riktlinjer realiseras i praktiskt arbete på två olika avdelningar: normalavdelning och behandlingsavdelning på en anstalt av högsta säkerhetsklass i Sverige. Data samlades in genom intervjuer med åtta kriminalvårdare och en psykolog. Resultatet visade att psykisk ohälsa ur ett personalperspektiv är vanligt förekommande, främst ADHD, depression, ångest och sömnsvårigheter. Majoriteten av respondenterna visste inte om vilka riktlinjer som finns vid behandling av klienters psykiska ohälsa. Slutsatsen är att det råder brister i kommunikationen mellan ledningen och kriminalvårdarna inom anstalten..

The aim of this essay is to examine how parents to children with large undiagnosed behaviour problems experience the parent role and the support they can obtain in their role as parents.To get a deeper description of the parent?s situation a qualitative method is used for the study. The interview carried out through a personal meeting and a question schedule with opened questions where used.The answers of the interview show that parents experience lot of problems. The children don?t get the support in school that the parent think they need because the child don?t have diagnose.

The aim of this study was to see if an increased amount of gas could be seen in the small bowel of cats subjected to trauma and if measuring the amount of gas could be of any use in the clinical evaluation of the patient. When the peristaltic waves in the small bowel decreases due to neurological damage or chock the microorganisms of the gut grow in number and possibly produce more gas and toxins. When the cat is stressed it can swallow more air then usual, and the air that is in solution with the chyme in the lumen of the gut separates from the ingesta. When the bowel isn?t moving it becomes easier for bacteria and toxins to penetrate the wall of the gut, and then get access to the bloodstream.

Arbetets syfte är att få en bred kunskapsbas för att förstå vad koncentrationssvårigheter är och hur de kan se ut i klassrummet. Syftet med studien är även att söka förslag till handling för att stävja koncentrationssvårigheter. Det är en litteraturstudie av medicinsk och pedagogisk forskning kring koncentrations-svårigheter. Med hjälp av en fallstudie genom intervjuande samtal med en elev och skolans specialpedagog beskrivs verkligheten på just den här yrkesorienterade gymnasieskolan. Resultatens första del beskriver koncentrationssvårigheter till hjälp för förståelse av begreppet.

The purpose of this study was to describe the prevalence of self-reported visual and neck/shoulder complaints among individuals with a low vision diagnosis. The study also aimed to examine whether there was an association between the degree of self-rated visual and the neck/shoulder complaints. There was a questionnaire survey that was conducted on patients that visits an eye center in a county in central Sweden. There were a total of 18 people participated in the survey, between 17-92 years old. The questionnaire contained 22 questions and was analyzed with SPSS.

SammandragDenna uppsats handlar om vad Aspergers syndrom är och vad det innebär för barnen i skolan. I texten ges en förklaring till de olika kriterierna som experterna följer för att ställa diagnosen Aspergers syndrom och även hur föräldrar, förskolan och skolan kan hjälpa barnen med Aspergers syndrom att lära sig samhällets samspel och regler.Uppsatsen har genomförts med hjälp av litteratur från tidigare forskningar och samtal med lärare och specialpedagogen. Det som jag lägger tyngdpunkten på, är min egen undersökning med observation och samtal med en flicka i 11 års ålder som har diagnostiserats ADHD och Aspergers syndrom.Undersökningen visar att barnen med Aspergers syndrom behöver ha struktur samt tydliga och okomplicerade regler, samt att de kan ha vissa svårigheter med språket och det sociala beteendet. The purpose of this study was to highlight the type of actions that can facilitate people with Asperger syndrome to get and keep a job in the regular labour market. Four interviews were done with people who have been diagnosed with Asperger syndrome and who got a job in the regular labour market. The study shows that efforts from society and friends at work have played a role when they had got their jobs and when they managed to keep it. The study shows that these efforts have strengthened their self-image and confidence. The study also shows that adaptations in the work, the ability to control over social contacts and the importance of having a job may have contributed to the respondents stayed in the workplace.

Syftet med min uppsats är att undersöka vad SET-programmet och Livskunskap som ett schemalagt ämne är. Men även hur det är utformat och hur dess pedagogiska metod används i skolan. Med hjälp av kvantitativa enkäter och kvalitativa intervjuer ska jag ta reda på elevers i årskurs 7-9 och lärares inställningar till SET-programmet. Jag har kommit fram till att elever och lärare är positivt inställda till Livskunskap, men att det krävs ett långsiktigt arbete och välförbereda lärare för att uppnå tillfredsställande resultat. Många elever svarade att Livskunskapen inte hjälpte till att få en bättre arbetsmiljö, eftersom att många elever inte tar det på allvar.

The purpose of this study is to explore how teachers in Sweden and Croatia work with children that have problems like ADHD and dyslexia in school. I have chosen to compare pedagogical methods between Swedish and Croatian teachers which are used in work with children with difficulties when it comes to the education and teachers approach to these children. I have done a qualified study and have interviewed teachers in both Sweden and Croatia and one specialist in pedagogy in Croatia. I compared with these interviews information from earlier studies and literature. Results show that teachers in Sweden are of the opinion that every student who has these difficulties is different and therefore the use a variation of pedagogical strategies is crucial.

I mars 2011 presenterades ett förslag om att reducera mervärdesskatten på restaurang- och cateringtjänster exklusive alkohol från den dåvarande 25 procent till dagens 12 procent. Denna förändring förväntades skapa 3500 helårsanställningar inom restaurang och cateringbranschen. (2011/12:RFR13, s.56-57)   I januari 2012 införde staten en sänkt momssats för restaurangföretagare från den dåvarande 25 procentiga momsen till dagens 12 procentiga moms.   Syftet med denna studie är att öka förståelsen för vilka aspekter som påverkar restauranger att förändra sin verksamhet i relation till den sänkta restaurangmomsen 2012. Utöver detta skall vårt empiriska material användas för att skapa en egen modell. Denna modell skall användas till att förstå organisationsförändring och faktorer som påverkar en sådan förändring.   För att komma närmare studiens frågeställning har vi valt att utgå ifrån ett antal olika modeller som berör organisationsförändring med fokus på varför en förändring sker och vilka element som är viktiga att fokusera på för att kunna studera denna förändring.

Rotavirus and coronavirus are the two most common viral causes of neonatal calf diarrhea and their presence causes a lot of economic damage to the farmers as well as suffering to the animal. By getting better knowledge about the viruses we may help in tracing transmission and in producing new vaccines. This paper served to study the molecular epidemiology of rotavirus and coronavirus in fecal samples collected from two different farms in the state of São Paulo, Brazil. These samples have been studied with focus on the gene VP4, VP7, NSP4 in rotavirus and the gene S1 in coronavirus. From the first farm the screening PCR showed that 12/48 samples were positive for rotavirus and 4/48 positive for coronavirus.

Syftet med denna studie var att öka kunskapen om hur syskon påverkas av att växa upp med ett funktionshindrat syskon. De flesta av oss kommer att möta människor i skolan och arbetet som växer upp eller har vuxit upp med ett syskon med ett funktionshinder. Denna studie genomfördes med hjälp av 52 öppna och slutna frågor som studerade 16 syskons uppfattning angående ansvarstagande, hjälpsamhet och uppfattningen av syskonskapet i relation till platsen i syskonskaran. Studien visade att de som har en åldersskillnad på upp till 2,5 år förklarar för andra om syskonets funktionshinder i större utsträckning än ensambarn. Resultat visade även att yngre systrar undviker konflikter med sina föräldrar i större utsträckning än deras äldre systrar.
