Jag söker svaret på frågan om texttrogenhet vid Adaption från text till film är önskvärt. Ska man sträva efter att återskapa texten i ett nytt medium, eller ska filmen ses som en ny skapelse?Det har idag blivit en naturlig reaktion att genast utnämna filmatiseringen till förlorare samtidigt som det länge pågått debatter om huruvida litteraturen kommer att försvinna i skuggan av filmversionerna. Många väljer idag att se filmen istället för att läsa den litterära förlagan.Efter kortare genomgång av forskning och en studie av två välkända barnböcker har jag fått en djupare förståelse för hur de båda medierna står i förbund med varandra. Text och film är två skilda medium som försöker mötas.

Syfte med den här uppsatsen är att jämföra karaktärerna i romanen och filmen Sandor slash Ida för att komma åt vilka möjligheter som finns när det gäller karaktärsskildring i de olika medierna. Frågeställningen är enligt följande: ? Skiljer sig huvudkaraktärerna åt mellan romanen och filmen, och i så fall på vilka sätt?För att kunna svara frågeställningen användes underfrågor för att kunna uppnå syftet med uppsatsen:? Hur lär vi känna huvudkaraktärerna i romanen respektive filmen när det gäller känslor, humör, deras sociala roll och andras förväntningar på dem?Förhoppningen är att resultatet av uppsatsarbetet också ska bli något som kan användas i rollen som gymnasielärare, i framtida undervisningssituationer, exempelvis för att diskutera filmatisering av romaner eller karaktärsskildringar i romaner och filmer..

The company Sound Precision has developed a new Line Array loudspeaker system (VHA-40). When using this system, their customers need computer aid to get the best possible sound-quality and control of sound levels for the whole audience. The aim of this thesis is to develop a truly useful sound quality simulator for the VHA-40. The system will help the sound engineers to position the loudspeakers for optimal sound by simulating loudspeaker configurations and visualizing the resulting sound quality and quantity. To solve this a human-centered design (HCD) approach is taken to implement a system that is truly useful for the users, meaning that they will use it more and hence deliver better sound for the audience.

The numbers of natural disasters caused by extreme weather are increasing through out the world. A large majority of the research concerning the climate shows that this is a trend that can be expected to continue. At the same time the urbanisation is increasing more than ever and for the first time in history more than fifty percent of the population lives in a city. How we build these cities will have a crucial importance for our Adaption to the new climate. In Sweden, our capacity for an Adaption are high because of our economic situation as well as our rather well built society.

The purpose of this bachelor thesis is to examine the methods public libraries can use in order to market youth services. It is also a chance to evaluate an untested marketing model adapted to public libraries. Young people are one of the most difficult groups to attract to the library and thus librarians need adequate methods to deal with this problem. We have interviewed librarians, carried out observations and examined documents in accordance to the triangulation method. Before one can begin marketing the libraries one ought to know of how marketing is done and the principles behind it, therefore we have given a simple explanation of marketing and marketing theory.

All Swedish preschools are required to work systematically with quality. This involves several steps that follow each other in a specific order. It includes following up, documenting and evaluating preschool activities.

Background: Most acts of violence in a psychiatric ward are directed towards the nursing staff. Aggressive behaviour often stems from feelings of frustration and powerlessness in patients while committed and therefore having limited liberties. To avoid an escalation of a hostile situation, it is important that the nursing staff applies the kind of encounter that will yield a positive outcome. Aim: The aim of this literary study is to elucidate the possible encounter the nursing staff can apply when encountering a hostile patient in psychiatric care. Method: The literary study is based on twelve scientific articles.

This study is investigating what conditions can strengthen an alliance and which obstacles there are. Coercion aspects can also influence an alliance and are therefore also written about. The asymmetrical relationship between the social worker and the juvenile delinquent is investigated also with in regards to the tacit and explicit coercion when they are entering care. The study is focusing on the consequence/influence programs that the juvenile delinquents can be sentenced to because of their crimes. Counseling is a major part in these programs.

In this study environmental work in the Swedish hotel chain "Scandic" is investigated. Earlier studies point out sustainability and different environmental certificate programs as essential for the housing sector to contribute to sustainable tourism. The purpose and willingness to fulfill such a mission has been investigated by interviewing central actors in the hotel chain. The result shows that there is a desire to be part of environmental certificate programs mainly for the reason to be part of the system and not for the benefit of nature. Sustainable development is understood as being environmentally friendly. Different solutions to adapt and being more environmentally friendly is discussed.

Under sjukdomsförloppet kunde det urskiljas en krisreaktion hos de anhöriga.

The work of Shakespeare has been popular to make film adaptations of from the birth of cinema. Macbeth, one of his most often played tragedies, is no exception. But how did Shakespeare portray Lady Macbeth in his play, and how do directors in the 21th century choose to portray her for a modern audience? I will try to find the answer to these questions by analyzing Shakespeare´s play as well as three modern adaptations. I will begin the thesis by looking at scholars´ view in questions regarding gender, free will, adaptations and genre before analyzing the play and the three movies.

Det finns många faktorer som påverkar hur svårlöst en konflikt är. Vi undersöker en av dem, nämligen skuggnätverken, genom att titta på kausalsambandet mellan skuggnätverk och staters olika uppbyggnadsprocesser. Begreppet skuggnätverk är en Adaption av Nordstroms ?shadows? ? det vill säga ekonomiska och politiska länkar som på både lokal och internationell nivå rör sig utanför de statliga direktiven. Genom att studera skuggnätverkens utbredning i fyra afrikanska länder: Sydafrika, Kongo, Angola och Sierra Leone, ser vi de effekter som de har haft på de ekonomiska, politiska och sociala områdena i respektive länder.

Background;Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is a lung disease characterized by airway obstruction. Common signs of COPD are the slow process and shortness of breath on exertion. The most important treatment is to quit smoking. Most nurses, regardless of where they work, will meet these patients, often when the patients are having respiratory disorders. Aim;the aim of this study was to illuminate how patients with COPD describe the daily life based on how he/she experience and cope with the disease.
