I den här essän söker jag svar på följande frågor: Vad gör egentligen en berättare? Närmare bestämt: vad utmärker professionellt, muntligt berättande jämfört med det publika berättande som författare och skådespelare ägnar sig åt? Vad är det som just en muntlig berättare kan?Jag använder forskning som studerat förutsättningarna för dessa yrken ? särskilt hur berättelser konstrueras och berättande går till ? och tillämpar studierna på ett konkret fall: mina egna erfarenheter av att förbereda och framföra sägnen om Råttfångaren från Hameln vid Ljungby berättarfestival 2012. Det jag då gjorde och hur jag såg på det efteråt, jämförs med fiktiva berättares verksamhet i Mario Vargas Llosas roman El Hablador och Ursula K. Le Guins The Telling.Jag prövar bilden av en råttfångare som metafor för en muntlig berättare och kommer till slutsatsen att berättaren kan vara lika fängslande och lika förledande. Även skådespelare och romanförfattare kan fängsla sin publik, men inte luras så som en berättare kan.

I denna uppsats analyseras två översättningar av Jane Austens roman Emma utifrån Vinay och Darbelnets indirekta översättningstekniker. Det första kapitlet i Jane Austens roman och respektive översättning av Sonja Bergvall och Rose-Marie Nielsen utgör materialet. Syftet är att undersöka hur de båda översättarnas val antingen liknar varandra eller skiljer sig åt och, framförallt, vad dessa val i slutändan får för konsekvenser för tolkningen av de båda översatta texterna. De fyra översättningstekniker från Vinay och Darbelnets teori som appliceras på exemplen är transposition, modulation, bruksmotsvarighet och Adaption. I de flesta fall har översättarna valt olika översättningstekniker för samma översättningsproblem och genomgående kan sägas att Bergvall håller sig närmare källtexten medan Nielsen oftare gör friare översättningar.

Den här studien är en analys av hur den ryske författaren Lev Tolstoj, genom kanonisering och uppkomsten av vissa mönster av texter, bilder och representationer, reduceras till tecken, symbol och ikon, samt hur denna symbol och ikon behandlas i två filmAdaptioner - Leo Tolstoj (Lev Tolstoj 1985) respektive The Last Station (2009). Den teoretiska utgångspunkten är i huvudsak Jurij Lotmans kultursemiotiska teori och i synnerhet hans definitioner av termerna tecken, symbol och ikon. Uppsatsen visar, utifrån denna semiotiska teori, hur Adaptionerna väljer att representera en viss bild av Tolstoj som en reduktiv strategi för att kunna skapa ett narrativ som måste infoga och välja bland en komplex uppsättning av bilder och självbilder, representationer och självrepresentationer.Resultaten av analysen visar hur bilden av Lev Tolstoj i Lev Tolstoj fokuserar på bilden av författaren som å ena sidan starjets, som en vis äldre man, som människor uppsöker, och å andra sidan som författare. Hans verk ges följaktligen stort utrymme och det refereras ofta till hans verk, och då i synnerhet till den senare produktionen av filosofiskt och religiöst material. Vad gäller de ikoniska elementen är det bilden av den gamle mannen i de enkla bondekläderna från de sista åren av hans liv som dominerar.

Individual Adaption to the student´s needs is a recurring main theme in the new Swedish curriculum (Lgr11). The purpose of this qualitative study is to examine how teachers work with individual adjustment for students with reading and writing difficulties. The study was based on five questions;In what way do teachers organize their teaching in the classroom individually for students with reading and writing difficulties?What methods do they use for student´s with reading and writing difficulties?What difficulties do they encounter in their teaching?How do the teachers reason to curriculum goals regarding individual Adaptions?How do they think about their own knowledge regarding reading- and writing difficulties and dyslexia?The method for my study was qualitative interviews. Five teachers were interviewed in semi-structured interviews.

The essay deals with gender aspects on climate change Adaption. The aspects consist of the fact that women in Sweden drive cars less than men, and that women in the developing world are more affected by natural disasters arising from global warming. This study was carried out in the municipality of Huddinge, a suburb to Stockholm, by interviewing one Agenda 21 coordinator, one planner and one student in genderstudies. I also attended a meeting in the Committee for built environment in the Huddinge Municipality, to ask the politicians questions and observe gender structures during the meeting. The results also consist of a search for gender-related words in the documents used in the essay.The results are analysed using ecofeminsim, a theory that connects woman subordination and environmental destruction.

AbstractPurpose: The purpose of this thesis was to examine to which extant the politically governed organization, Swedish association of local authorities and local regions (SALAR), has been mediatized. Furthermore the purpose was to examine how SALAR being a Meta-organization affected the mediatization process. To accomplish this the thesis studied how SALAR organized themselves internally in order to form opinion through the media in one of their prioritized issues. A further purpose was to equalize SALAR?s mediatization process with the mediatization process for the whole political system. Method: This is a qualitative study which the gathered material has been collected through two types of methods, semi structured interviews and field observations.Material: A total of eight interviews were made distributed over three departments inside SALAR.

Syftet med studien är att genom tidigare forskning och verksamma dramapedagoger ta reda på och åskådliggöra fenomenet drama. Fokus ligger på elevernas åsikter gällande drama som en alternativ undervisningsmetod i språkundervisningen. Samtidigt har jag tittat närmare på hur drama inverkar på deras skriftliga produktion (fri skrivning), där ord, fraser och grammatik ingår. Jag har undersökt en grupp elever som går sista året på samhällsprogrammet inriktning språk. Undersökningarna har genomförts genom löpande observationer i klassrummet, eleverna har skrivit sina reflektioner i loggböcker (de har läst berättelsen om Pinocchio på italienska), enkäter, för-och eftermätning i form av prov samt att eleverna har satt upp en skolpjäs om Pinocchio på italienska.

Background: Today, It?s not uncommon that international companies and organizations have a higher turnover than the GDP of developing countries. Consequently, this may suggest that the choices companies make in the context of their business has a great potential to influence the world from an economic, but also from a social and environmental standpoint. From this the notion emerged that companies have a responsibility, referred to as Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). A clear definition of the CSR concept is difficult to find, more than 37 different definitions has been identified.

This empirical work and base has been to analyze the new high school reform that the Swedish government introduced as a statement 2008/09:199 about: Higher demand and quality within the high school. This statement became legal through the government vote in spring 2010. But above all it is the investigation (SOU 2008:27) that is the central piece for these new examination changes for high school students that will come into effect 1 of July 2011. The purpose and questions asked in this analyze has been if the reform takes its base in a modernistic (traditional) way or a late modern scientific perspective. And also to find out how these new quality amendments in the investigation makes visible about the high school and what the purpose are about the changes. When scientific theories in these analyze is placed against the reform, the result shows that the modernization process reflects more of a late modern aspect, which constantly reappraise in a changeable society.

Milk fat is an important feature in many different milk products and other foodstuffs and it is often crucial for the dairy plants that the milk fat is stable for different manufacturing processes. Lipolysis is the enzymatic degradation of fat and is the one of the causes for an elevated amount of free fatty acids (FFA) in milk. Further, the change in fatty acid (FA) composition in milk can affect the stability of the product and also the manufacturing process. Both internal and external factors, at farm level or at the dairy plants can affect both FA composition and content of FFA. Milking frequency (MF=number of milkings per cow and day) and the composition of feed are two examples of factors generally performed at farm level. The objective of the present study was to evaluate how FA composition of milk and amount of FFA are influenced by two different ingredients supplemented to concentrate.

There are several energy systems in the Swedish society and to ensure the comfort and health of the citizens it is of importance that the different energy systems are functioning properly. District heating is one of these energy systems and many household depend only on district heating to warm up their homes. District heating is dependent on several processes where every step needs to function in order to deliver the produced heat to the end consumer. Previous studies have investigated the distribution of district heating and how to make customers choose district heating as their heating method. The supply of fuel to the district heating plant has not been studied as much, even though it is an important part of the whole system. This thesis is a part of the project NORD-STAR (Nordic Strategic Adaption Research), which has focused on climate Adaption in the Nordic countries.

This degree project has been performed on commission by Örsjöbelysning AB. The task has been to study alighting armature and compare it to the demands of The Swan Ecolabel. The task was also to recommend adjustments to improve the environmental Adaption of the product to meet the demands of The Swan Ecolabel. Furthermore the task has been to gather documentation on the elements of the lighting armature. Such documentation is required to obtain The Swan Ecolabel.

Furthermore it also treats the employer's obligation to rehabilitation of employees that has a reduced working ability as consequence of their work. The essay also intends to investigate if there are any differences in the employer?s obligation to work adaptation when recruiting and the employer?s obligation to work Adaption for an existing employment. In this work, there is a background chapter which describes the UN and the European Union's approach to work reduction ability and disability. Furthermore, there is a detailed description of the work environment law, the discrimination law, the social insurance code and the employment protection legislation.
