The Swedish consumer electronic industry has recently experienced an increasingly intensive price war. The price war has forced some operators in the business to declare bankruptcy, as the only way to compete has been by driving down prices. A challenge that retail chains in the consumer electronics industry is facing is to increase their margins. If store personnel can success with upselling, the companies will increase their profits. The purpose of this paper is to examine if the sales people in the consumer electronic industry can influence the customer to buy a more expensive product and what the effects the upselling has on the customers' attitudes.

Dagens hälsoproblem bland barn och ungdomar är i allt större utsträckning av socialmedicinsk karaktär och kräver därför ett förebyggande och mer miljö- och beteendeinriktat arbetssätt. Skolhälsovården har en nyckelposition i det förebyggande arbetet för att främja hälsa, och dess roll inom skolan har därigenom förstärkts. Skolans psykosociala miljö och sätt att bemöta elever och föräldrar är viktiga instrument i hälsoarbetet. Syftet med studien var att belysa skolsköterskans funktion för att främja hälsa inom skolhälsovården. Denna kunskap kan skolsköterskan använda sig av som underlag i sitt arbete inom skolhälsovården.

Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka och jämföra två mindre skolor i södra Sverige i deras preventiva arbete inom skolfrånvaro. Frågan ställdes om de olika professionernas uppfattningar skiljer sig från varandra och i så fall på vilket sätt skolornas och deras preventiva arbete mot skolfrånvaro skiljer sig åt.En hermeneutisk utgångspunkt användes då respondenternas egna tankar och förståelser är av intresse. Vi har därför använt oss av vinjettmetoden, då vi fann denna metod mest lämpad för att skapa ett flytande samtal.Vårt resultat visar att föräldrar spelar en stor roll i ungdomens motivation till skolan och därmed också motivationen till att närvara på lektioner. Resultatet visar också att skolpersonalens relation är av betydande grund, förtroendet för dessa är en vital del i elevens utveckling.Slutsatserna är att föräldrar, skola och övriga aktörer behöver samarbeta för att främja elevens närvaro..

AbstractCommunication and information has become a large industry in today?s society. More and more organisations use these means as tools of influence. Non-profit organization?s campaigns, which aim to change a behavior, often have a political responsibility and it is therefore important that these are carefully planned and carried through.

This study includes several purposes which are to describe the concept of working environment, explain who is responsible for its functioning and how the working environment should look like. Other purposes the study have is to investigate how the working environment is in both Swedish and the two investigated companies construction sites and to share some operators proposing measures for the shortcomings and problems that exist in the construction sector working environment. To achieve these purposes was a qualitative study made with unstructured observations, interviews and survey where three construction sites were observed. The result shows that the concept of the working environment cover many aspects and is essentially about the environment we live in and experience in our work and this environment can be both an indoor as an outdoor environment. In this work, the concept is divided into four areas; it is the physical, the ergonomic, the psychosocial and the chemical.

Background: Every year, 2000 persons in Sweden are diagnosed with malignant melanoma, the most alarming form of skincancer. Sunexposure, sunburns and tanningbed use are the most appearing causes in the development of this disease. The skin of young people is sensitive to UV-radiation and their sunbehaviour could be determinant to their future health. Purpose: To illuminate the knowledge and attitudes of adolescents towards sunexposure in the meaning to avoid the development of malignant melanoma. Method: The study was designed to be a literature review, containing scientific articles of both qualitative and quantitative approach.

The use of tobacco is one of the largest health risks for human. Tobacco-users have an incrased risk of deterioration in their oral health. Individuals starts to use tobacco when they are young, often at the same time as they are going in an athletic sport club. It also seems that children are starting with tobacco habits when they are active in athletic sport clubs. The aim of this study was to examine and compare tobacco-habits of young men in and between three different athletic sport clubs.

   SammanfattningSyftet med denna uppsats var att belysa hur fenomenet friskvård på en arbetsplats uppfattas av enskilda individer och vilken betydelse det kan få med avseende på såväl hälsan som välbefinnandet i stort. Utifrån denna fråga ville vi även se om det fanns skillnader i upplevelser av friskvård i de olika yrkeskategorierna från arbetsledning till arbetstagare. Inställningen till friskvård som prevention på en arbetsplats och vardagsmotion för den enskilde individen är individuell. En del människor varken vill eller tror sig kunna utöva friskvård och håller sig friska ändå. Den empiriska undersökningen bygger på kvalitativ metod.

ABSTRACT The persons whom the authorized nurse encounters in hospital wards and nursing homes are in great extent elderly persons. According to Wasserman (2000), about 30 to 40 percent among these, show signs of depression. To be aware of the signs of depression, and how an authorized nurse can support the patient is therefore of great value. The introduction to this study describes the symptoms of depression and how depression in elders is expressed. It also describes treatment possibilities and nursing aspects of concern.

Malnutrition är ett vanligt förekommande tillstånd bland äldre som är inneliggande på sjukhus. Syftet med litteraturstudien var att belysa hur sjuksköterskan kan förebygga malnutrition hos äldre. Resultatet baseras på 15 vetenskapliga artiklar och visar hur sjuksköterskan kan förbygga tillståndet genom de fem teman som togs fram: att skapa delaktighet i vården med hjälp av information, att involvera anhöriga, struktur i vårdteamet, att använda sig av bedömningsinstrument och kunskap och utbildning. Resultatet visar hur god kommunikation och kunskap hjälper sjuksköterskan i arbetet att förebygga malnutrition. Det krävs även en struktur i vårdteamet för en tydlig rollfördelning bland professionerna.

Övervikt och fetma bland barn är ett stort folkhälsoproblem. Sjuksköterskan möter barnet i primärvården och inom skolhälsovården. Syftet med studien var att undersöka vad som kan påverka sjuksköterskans preventiva arbete mot övervikt och fetma bland barn i åldern 6-12 år. Studien genomfördes som en litteraturstudie där 10 vetenskapliga artiklar utgjorde underlaget för resultatet. I resultatet framkom fyra kategorier av redskap som kan påverka sjuksköterskans preventiva arbete mot övervikt och fetma bland barn.

The purpose of this essay has been to examine how the city of Helsingborg´s prevention of alcohol and drug use among youths is laid out. It has been of special interest to examine the youth centers (after school programs) preventive work with youths and its effects on frequency of alcohol and narcotics use among youths.The people we have interviewed are all involved in the three organizations: the youth centers, schools, and social services. The results showed that the youth center staff does not think that they work actively preventive against alcohol and narcotics. On the other hand, the staff at the youth centers points out that just keeping the youths in the neighbourhood and making them involved in the activities at the youth center, is preventary work. The staff at the social services points out that it is not the facilities that is part of the preventive work but the activities and the skill of the staff that is improtant for the youths..

Every year, approximately 700 000 individuals´ visit an emergency ward in Sweden as a result of injuries and to the emergency ward at Umea University hospital (NUS) about 12 000 injured arrive every year. This study is a retrospective cross-sectional study that surveys injuries caused by crashes among 153 pedestrians and 53 bicyclists, who have been injured in a geographically well defined area during the period January to June 2009. The aim of this study is to survey injuries among pedestrians and cyclists and to examine what preventive measures could reduce these injuries in the Umeå municipality. The results show that falls caused by slipper surface are common among both pedestrians (71 %; n = 109) and bicyclists (32 %; n = 17). Almost one third of the pedestrians (34 %; n = 43) were in the age of 65 or older.

Syftet med studien var att beskriva arbetsterapeuters kliniska resonemang i folkhälsoarbetet inom primärvården. Den undersökta gruppen bestod av tio arbetsterapeuter med 1- 26 års yrkeserfarenhet. Arbetsterapeuterna intervjuades med en öppen frågeställning samt fick även berätta om ett patientfall. Intervju utskrifterna analyserades utifrån en kvalitativ innehålls analys. Analysen utmynnade i tre kategorier.
