Riskbruk av alkohol är ett stort problem i dagens samhälle. Sjuksköterskan beskrivs ha goda möjligheter att upptäcka och behandla riskbruk av alkohol i det dagliga arbetet. Studier tyder på att korta interventioner är av stor nytta till sjuksköterskan i sitt hälsofrämjande arbete. Dock visar forskningen att sjuksköterskans aktivitet inom detta område måste utvecklas och att det finns många faktorer som kan påverka uppgiften. Syftet med arbetet var att belysa faktorer som påverkar sjuksköterskans hälsofrämjande arbete gällande individer med ett riskbruk av alkohol.

Det finns ett klart samband mellan komplex traumatisering och psykisk och fysik ohälsa. Många människor har stora problem med det dagliga livet och relationer. Förutom det personliga lidandet är effekterna av komplex traumatisering av stor samhällsekonomisk betydelse. Syftet med studien är att undersöka psykoterapeutisk behandling av traumatiserade patienter inom icke specialiserade enheter. Frågeställningarna i studien är: Vad innebär effekterna av komplex traumatisering för individen? Vilka är terapeuters upplevelse av att arbeta med komplext traumatiserade individer? Får individer med diagnosen komplex PTSD den hjälp de behöver? Den metod som använts är en kvalitativ studie där sex legitimerade psykoterapeuter med psykodynamisk inriktning intervjuas.

Ever since Lipsky wrote about street-level bureaucrats in 1980 the main belief has been that certain characteristics of their jobs make it exceptionally difficult to severely reduce their discretion. However, discretion comes at a price and if public servants abuse their power the legitimacy of government is at risk and ultimately even the democracy.This thesis address this question by analysing the Swedish employment service which in the beginning of 2001 started a project called ?Af Sverige? trying to improve internal rule of law. By comparing two local and fairly equal jobcentres and how the street-level bureaucrats within use their discretion, I seek to find support for my hypotheses that organizing local jobcentres according to the principles of machine bureaucracy plays a significant part in reducing discretion.My findings show that a jobcentre characterised by strict rules, few units, good communications and a forthright manager who delegates formal power to the employees results in a stricter and more uniform application of regulations among the street-level bureaucrats. My conclusion is therefore unambiguous.

Uppsatsens syfte är att ur ett personalperspektiv undersöka och beskriva kunskapsläget i äldreomsorgsarbete inom hemtjänsten med brukare som har alkoholproblematik. Syftet belyses via följande frågeställningar; 1) Hur beskrivs arbete med vård och omsorg hos brukaren generellt i forskningen? 2) Hur påverkas brukarens självbestämmande och livskvalitet generellt vid behov av vård och omsorg från äldreomsorgen? 3) Hur beskrivs arbete med vård och omsorg hos brukaren med alkoholproblematik i forskningen? 4) Hur påverkas brukarens självbestämmande och livskvalitet generellt vid behov av vård och omsorg från äldreomsorgen om brukaren har alkoholproblematik? För att besvara frågeställningarna valdes selektiv kunskapsöversikt som består av 11 utvalda primärdokument. Syfte och frågor i vår uppsats analyserades och besvarades via socialkonstruktionistisk och DBO-teorin, en handlingsteori. Resultatet av uppsatsen visar att: relationen mellan personal och brukare är avgörande för brukarens självbestämmande och livskvalitet.

We came across the discussion about the so-called duty to report (14 kap 1 § SoL) and we found some previous research, showing that preschool teachers are hesitant to report, and that they want real evidence that children are being mistreated, even though the duty to report clearly states that they have to report as soon as they suspect that a child is being mistreated. Our purpose became to study what tendencies and conditions preschool teachers and principals, placed in the municipalities of Hässleholm and Kristianstad, have to fulfil their duty to report according to the social services act, when there is a well founded suspicion that a child is being mistreated.  We split the purpose into the following research questions:   Do local guidelines about how preschool teachers should act when suspecting that a child is being mistreated exist, and are they being followed? To what degree does the staff has knowledge about these guidelines? How do preschool teachers experience the treatment from colleagues, principals and social welfare officers when they´ve done or wanted to do a report? How do preschool teachers experience the reactions of a report from custodians? We did conversational interviews with two principals, one from the municipality of Hässleholm, and one from the municipality of Kristianstad. We also made focusgroup interviews with the staff, three persons each from one of their respective preschools. Our conclusion is that preschool teachers are unwilling to report mistreatment.

Bakgrund: Patienter med alkoholberoende är vanligt förekommande inom sjukvården. Forskning visar att vårdpersonalen uttrycker bristande kunskap i mötet med dessa patienter. Livsvärlden är den värld människan dagligen möter och lever i. Ett livsvärldsperspektiv innebär att vara öppen och se den andra människan där hon befinner sig. Alkoholberoende lever med känslor av skuld och skam, dessa känslor skapar ett lidande hos patienten, vilket kan förvärras av vårdpersonal.

Several studies has identified the locker room experience as a potential deterrent for participation in physical education. Both psychological and physical issues arise due to several factors. Psychological issues include different kinds of verbal and physical violations, comparisons between pupils, feeling of vulnerability along with a stressful schedule. The physical environment can contribute to negative experience for pupils in terms of filthy premises and cold showers. These factors may contribute to higher absentee rates in physical education.

Background For patients in need for psychiatric care who refuse treatment, coercive care might be necessary due to The Law of Psychiatric Compulsory Care, LPT. The purpose of this law is to make sure the patient later on will be able to increase autonomy. The most frequent patients in coercive care suffer from psychosis, heavy depression or having high risk of committing suicide. One of the most important tasks in the nurse profession is to increase patients? autonomy.

Bakgrund: Skolsköterskan har möjlighet att upptäcka barn som blivit våldsutsatta och det är en svår uppgift att samtala med dessa barn. En god kommunikation är ett villkor för att hjälpa barnet klara av lidande och finna mening i sin upplevelse. Trygghet och säkerhet är ett viktigt stödjande element för att kunna hjälpa ett våldsutsatt barn. Skolsköterskor har en unik möjlighet att göra skillnad som kan förändra dessa barns liv. Syfte: Syftet med studien var att beskriva skolsköterskors erfarenheter av samtal med våldsutsatta barn.

The purpose of this study is to gain a better understanding of women who have been abused by their partners. The study also examines how violence takes shape in a relationship. Based on a qualitative text analysis of three autobiographies and one novel, we have obtained the material for this study. The three selected autobiographies are; "I have not told you everything" by Jessie Andersson, "The nightmare" by Maria Dahlén and "It would be a pleasure to kill you" by Magdalena Graaf and the novel "Hidden" by Liza Marklund. To gain a better understanding of this topic, we have used the following theories; the process of normalization of violence, gender and masculinity.

Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) is a quality control system created by the European Union (EU) to protect integrity of certain food and drinks that are produced in a specific area in a unique way. By protecting these products, the EU can certify that the traditional region-specific methods of food and drink production are preserved. The EU countries that follow such a system are mostly from Southern Europe. For instance in France, the PDO system has helped improve the income for farmers, boosted the rural development and assured protection for farmers against the abuse of their brand and the selling of their products by outsiders. In Sweden, there are no PDO products yet, instead there is Protected Geographical Indication (PGI) and Traditional Speciality Guarantee (TSG) that are not as protective as PDO.

Denna uppsats är skriven på initiativ av Alkohol- och drogmottagningen i Umeå kommun. Syftet med studien är att undersöka hur före detta narkotikamissbrukare upplever omställningen till ett drogfritt liv. Enligt Socialstyrelsen finns uppskattningsvis drygt 100 000 personer med missbruk i något av samhällets vård- och behandlingssystem. I en studie påvisas mönster som innefattar att ett drogmissbruk leder till en avvikande identitet, som i sin tur leder till stigma. Vidare visar en annan studie att sociala relationer haft en stor betydelse där närheten till andra människor har varit en viktig beståndsdel för stöd och hjälp.Uppsatsen utgår från en abduktiv ansats och bygger på kvalitativa semistrukturerade intervjuer där intervjuerna har bearbetats och analyserats med inspiration av kvalitativ innehållsanalys.

Introduction: The current research shows that cannabis use is increasing, while alcohol use is decreasing in many countries. The reason for the increase is considered to be the increased availability and that adolescents attitudes towards cannabis has become more liberal. Aim: This qualitative study aimed to examine adolescents attitudes and knowledge about cannabis. Methods: Data has been collected from focus group interviews with adolescents aged 15-18 years, in a west Swedish municipality. Participants were recruited through visits to secondary and upper secondary schools.
