The background to this thesis is the debate of the last decades within exegetics, concerning the so called "New Perspective on Paul". Starting from this discussion, the thesis is aming to investigateand discuss the function of Abraham in Paul's argument in Romans 4. This is achieved by, to start with, a thoroughly examination and analysis of different translations of Romans 4:1. Secondly, by trying how the translation suggested by Richard B. Hays can be motivated using a narrative perspective of interpretation emphazising the context of covenant history of the text, and thirdly, by examin and discuss other interpretations of the text and compare their ability to bring intelligibility to the text.

The purpose of this study was to examine how four teachers with different teaching experiences treat and think about insubordination in school. The study emphasizes on questions like: When and why does disorder occur? How do the teachers manage disorderly conduct in the classroom? and Could there be a conflict between the teacher?s expectations and management, and the needs and motivation of the pupil?    It was evident through interviews with these four teachers that their statements could be divided into similar themes which subsequently could be put into the motivational structure of Abraham H. Maslow.       The conclusion of the study was that teachers may possibly have a better chance of managing disorder in their classroom if they are aware of the connection between disorderly conduct and a person?s needs and motivation. .

Denna uppsats, vars första frö såddes vid ett studiebesök på Skokloster slott för två år sedan, behandlar barockens stoppningshistoria och en rekonstruktion av Skoklosterstolens stoppning. Målet med uppsatsen är att skapa ett intresse för historiska stoppningar och dess tekniker för både privatpersoner och yrkesmän.Undersökningar av litteratur, inventarielistor och Skoklosterstolarna själva ger anledning att tro att Skoklosterstolarna tillverkades 1708 till slottets dåvarande ägare Abraham Brahe. The basis for this study was my own conception of a weakening of recreational activities in the Swedish secondary school. The aim of the study was to look into five school leaders? ideas of recreational activities. The school leaders? who participated came from various municipalities in two different counties, southern Värmland and northern Västra Götaland (former Skaraborg).

Syftet med föreliggande studie är att ur ett socialpsykologiskt perspektiv undersöka vilka upplevelser inhyrd personal har på ett visst företag beroende på vilken arbetsgrupp de tillhör. I studien har vi utgått från en kvalitativ metod med nio semistrukturerade intervjuer där urvalet bestod av fem manliga informanter och fyra kvinnliga. Resultatet visar att det finns övervägande positiva upplevelser av att arbeta som inhyrd på det aktuella företaget där sociala relationer och ett gott bemötande är viktiga orsaker till dessa.  Resultatet visar även på skillnader i upplevelser hos den inhyrda personalen beroende på vilken arbetsgrupp de tillhör och vilka grupprocesser som utspelar sig inom denna. Resultatet har vi sedan analyserat med hjälp av ett flertal teoretiker; Moira von Wright, Johan Asplund, Norbert Elias, Georg Simmel, Susan A. Wheelan och Abraham Maslow.

This essay is about Abrahams children and its teaching method  the IE- method. The purpose of this essay is to see what four teachers who use the method in their teaching think about it. To get an idea of how these teachers are working with the IE- method, I interviewed them. What are the pros and cons, is it a good way to teach religion? In addition, I look at how the IE- method follows the Lpo94 values and goals.

This is a study about engagements and motivation. Its purpose is, by looking at other motivational theories than Abraham Maslow?s hierarchy of needs, to find out why certain people choose to become engaged as student representatives. The question this study is working from is: why do certain people choose to engage themselves as student representatives?This study has a qualitative approach, which means that a number of interviews have been done and subsequently profoundly analyzed.

Detta är en magisteruppsats i arbetsvetenskap utförd under vårterminen 2014. Studiens syfte har varit att undersöka arbetsmotivationen bland anställda i en tillverkningsfabrik som implementerat principer och verktyg från lean production. Utgångspunkten har varit att undersöka om element i lean production, så som teamorganisering och delaktighet, har en positiv inverkan på inre motivation. I studien operationaliserades inre motivation som arbetstillfredsställelse och engagemang.     Studien utgår från en kvalitativ ansats med ett hermeneutiskt perspektiv. Datamaterialet har insamlats från sammanlagt 12 respondenter, samtliga från samma fabrik i Svealand.

This essay examines how three big Swedish newspapers depicts e-sports and computer gaming and how the depiction change during 2000-2013. The study will also examine whether e-sports is being portrayed as competitive sport. The purpose is to investigate which attitudes that can be identified towards computer gaming and its culture in major newspapers such as Aftonbladet, Dagens Nyheter and Svenska Dagbladet and how these attitudes eventually changed over time. The sources that will be used in both the quantitative and qualitative analysis are based on web articles, mainly because the paper editions does not provide much, if any, information about computer gaming and e-sports and also because of the convenience of being able to quickly find articles to study. Results indicate that computer gaming is being depicted in a clear negative fashion during 2000-2006, and that the depiction of e-sports is somewhat positive but not as glorifying as for the years 2007-2013. During this period, there is a apparent tendency of e-sports being introduced to readers who are unfamiliar with the gaming culture. As for the attitudes towards computer gaming, the depiction is still somewhat negative, mainly because the debate about computer games and violence was revived because of several acts of violence in shape of school massacres and mass murder.

Denna uppsats syfte var att undersöka hur man i skolan arbetar med att lära ut om de gemensamma rötterna i de Abrahamitiska religionerna. Hur kan de Abrahamitiska religionernas gemensamma rötter vara en hjälp att främja en mångkulturell pedagogik och varför behövs en mångkulturell pedagogik? Jag har använt mig av en kvalitativ metod för att nå syftet med min uppsats. Där jag började med att göra litteraturstudier för att få en grund att stå på och vara bättre förberedd inför mina intervjuer. De gemensamma rötterna i de Abrahamitiska religionerna är ett bra sätt att arbeta i skolan för att uppnå en mångkulturell pedagogik.
