Denna uppsats analyserar de psalmer som användes i Svenska kyrkan under 1920-talet. Utgångspunkten tas i 1921 års psalmbokstillägg. Psalmtexterna analyseras utifrån den sammhälleliga kontexten. Framförallt 4 kategorier diskuteras: gemenskap, protest, mål och mening och till sist frihet.Musik har haft betydelse för människor på många olika sätt och har det fortfarande. En viktig uppgift har kompositörerna till musiken och författarena till texterna.

I denna uppsats studeras en sedan tidigare obehandlad källa rörande häxprocessen i Torsåkers socken i Ångermanland under 1600-talet. Källan som innehåller två rättsliga protokoll och en berättande text kring den ovan nämnda processen påträffades av en arkivarie vid namn Göran Gullbro i arkivet på länsmuseet Murberget i Härnösand. I och med studien har en avskrift av källan gjorts samt att dess innehåll har studerats och jämförts med redan sedan tidigare kända källor rörande ämnet. Här avses häradsrättens rannsakningsprotokoll från händelsen samt en avhandling i ämnet som publicerades 1771 författad av en Jöns Hornaeus. Studien ger ett möjligt svar på frågan kring den funna källans beskaffenhet, samt en redogörelse för dess innehåll inför kommande studier. Hypoteserna om Jöns Hornaeus som författare till källans berättande del samt att de två protokollen skulle kunna vara avskrifter av det sedan runt 300 år tillbaka förlorade kommissionsdomstolsprotokollet testas med spännande resultat..

In the beginning of the 1860s, an important railway was built between Malmö and Stockholm. The railway became one of the most important projects that would influence the entire southern Sweden. The railway line was located to areas outside the ordinary routes and a number of communities were built up along its way.Älmhult was one of the communities that was built up due to the railway. In the beginning there were only a few farms and a station, but a community developed and the village grew. In 1901 the village became a small market town, which was an important event.

Varför finns det så många lämningar efter gårdar övergivna under medeltiden, ödesbölen, i Jämtland och Härjedalen? Dessa fossila åkrar och husgrunder som finns kvar har mycket attberätta om ett liv olikt det i mer söderliggande jordbruksbygder. Denna uppsats ger en inblick i livet på två gårdar, Eisåsen i Storsjöbygden och Hedingsgärdet i Härjedalsfjällen. Mitt syfte är att klargöra vilka skillnader och likheter det finns mellan ekonomin på de två ödesbölena Eisåsen och Hedingsgärdet. Det är en närbild på dessa två gårdar som ges men ett större perspektiv skymtas också då gårdarna sätts i sammanhang med pest, samhällsekonomisk förändring och förändring i faunan.

Stadsdelen Alby i Botkyrka kommun utanför Stockholm byggdes i början av 1970-talet som en del av det så kallade miljonprogrammet. I Alby bor i dag människor av olika nationaliteter, med skilda ekonomiska förutsättningar och med skiftande krav på sin utemiljö. Arbetet är uppdelat i tre delar där den första delens avsnitt är ett försök att ge fördjupade kunskaper inför analysarbetet och programskisserna som utgör del två och tre. I avsnittet ?Stadsplanering och grönstruktur? ges en sammanfattning av hur stadsplanering och grönstruktur samspelat under olika tidsperioder från sekelskiftet och framåt. Grannskapsplaneringens fysiska utformning och grönstrukturens uppgift att skilja stadsdelar och bostadsområden från varandra beskrivs.
