Denna uppsats undersöker hur den svenska konstnären Greta Knutson historiskt sett har kanoniserats i relation till sitt förhållande med den kände dadaisten Tristan Tzara och den franska surrealiströrelsen under 1920- och 1930-talet. Knutson hade en lång och produktiv karriär och uppsatsens intention är att flytta fokus från de tidiga dagarna i Paris med surrealisterna till hennes senare konstnärliga period, räknad från slutet på 1960-talet fram till hennes död 1983. Min tes är att en radikal stilförändring då skedde till ett, paradoxalt nog, mer surrealistisk konstnärligt uttryck. Med hjälp av Griselda Pollock och det teoretiska begreppet ?kanonisering? ifrågasätts varför denna senare period i stort har gått förbi konsthistorien och hur Knutsons relation till surrealismen sett ut.

Syftet med uppsatsen är att ta reda på hur avgörande nationella skolreformer mottagits och anammats på lokal nivå från år 1931 fram till och med läroplanen 1962. Undersökningen riktar in sig på den skoltidning som utgavs i Orsa, i norra Dalarna, under perioden 1931 och 1985. De teoretiska utgångspunkterna har i huvudsak hämtats från Tomas Englunds avhandling Samhällsorientering och medborgarfostran i svensk skola under 1900-talet. I uppsatsen ställs frågor om hur den skolpolitiska, de didaktiska och den pedagogiska utvecklingen, såsom den ter sig i Orsa skoltidning, stämmer överens med den motsvarande nationell utveckling och vilka pedagogiska och didaktiska åtgärder och konsekvenser reformerna fått på den lokala nivån. Resultatet visar på en stor grad av acceptans och anpassning hos lokalbefolkningen, men också motstånd och lokal självkänsla.

The purpose of this study is to examine the effect the Nazi threat had on the swedish labour movement between 1932 and 1939 and to enrich what kind of pre-understanding they had about the fall of the Weimar Republic and the upcoming and effects of the Third Reich.Brought by the development in Germany, a debate and struggle took place in the Social Democratic journal Tiden over the meaning of concepts and there ability, in the hands of demagogs, to overthrow democratic structures. The concept of socialism and its concepts attribute play a major part in this investigation. By establishing fields of tension such as - nation vs internationalism, socialism in theory and in practice, political democracy vs evolved democracy and the diverse principles of neutrality, the first principle meaning the defending of national boarders, the other meaning not only defending your own country but taking an active part in defending democracy in the world - I was able to observe the movement and change of concepts within this fields. The result showing that the concept of socialism and near related attributes, in the hands of national socialists had undertaken a wast change of meaning, which applied in the Swedish debate threatened to undermine the power and force of the Social Democrats applied in the political discourse in Sweden. To defend itself and strengthening the Social Democratic hegemony as well as maintaining the goal of evolved democratic expansion, they were forced to win the confidence and votes of the middle class.

I denna uppsats studeras den semantiska utvecklingen hos ett antal ad-jektiv som betecknar sinnesstämningar. Syftet med arbetet är dels att undersöka vilka förändringar de enskilda adjektiven genomgått, och dels att ta reda på om några av de mest vedertagna teorierna om semantisk förändring på ett tillfredsställande sätt kan beskriva de observerade för-loppen.Den teori som huvudsakligen används är Gustaf Sterns klasser av se-mantisk förändring, såsom Sören Sjöström översätter och presenterar dem i Semantisk förändring. Hur ord får nya betydelser (2001). Jag ut-för dock även komponentanalyser på de utvalda orden för att studera om det kan vara en lämplig arbetsmetod.Sammanlagt åtta adjektiv har utvalts genom en process med det vikti-gaste slutliga urvalskriteriet att de ska ha genomgått en i jämförelse stor betydelseförändring. De undersökta orden är arg, belåten, ilsken, ledsen, lycklig, otrygg, rasande och slö.
